Just for reference, the status changed to IN TRANSIT on the CEAC website right around 10:30am EST, and l got the email notification at 1:33pm EST. .     So a three hour lag between the time it shows up on the status site and the time you get an email.  (if you get an email).

Big congrats to all who got that good news today.    :joy:     Party city tonight !

Same times for me!

Yes this my understanding is that nvc is sending your case to your embassy. The next step is to go on over to the given website and to learn how to apply for the a K visa and where this additional information.

Can we start filling out the DS160 now and scheduling the interview and medical or do we have to wait until we get an email from the embassy ?

do ds160, then do medical, then wait for "ready" status on ceac website and schedule interview. will probably be around a week.

@Greenbaum Just got an email saying our case has left the NVC and is in transit to the embassy in London. When I check CEAC this message appears :

The email didn't mention an interview date. Should I be calling NVC to get this date or does the London Embassy assign it...

Not Greenbaum but going through London embassy. Your status should change to Ready in about 3 days when they receive your case. This is when you can schedule the interview yourself. They don’t do it for you. Have your DS-160 filled out before you schedule the interview as it asks for this number on the form online when you apply.

Schedule Interview: https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv

Before scheduling the interview make sure to book a medical if you haven’t done one yet. You have to call them for that. 020 7486 7822 is the number.

Have your police certificate ready for both of those as they’ll ask for it.

The official steps they’ll send to you in a letter in about a weeks time.

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/ has a lot more info on these next steps :)

Hope that helps!

well from the looks of it is seems like NVC has received most of the January NOA2s and is moving onto February now. I've seen a ton of 28-30 getting good news today, with a few Feb 1st people already.

While case is at nvc can we fill ds160? Or wait until it goes to ready?

I just my email from the NVC that my case has been sent over to the embassy. How long to wait again? how many days will it take to be in READY status?

There is no exact date for that. From what I have seen looking at others timelines anywhere from 2-10 days. Someone correct me if I’m wrong
