Have you been to S.F yet? there are quite a few Russians in the area.

There's no snow, it's just 10-20c everyday

No, I've only been to New York 😊

I'll miss the snow though because I like seeing weather change according to a season. But I definitely am excited about finally getting vitamin D in sufficient quantities 🤓 Constantly grey sky is pretty much the only thing I don't like about Saint Petersburg

While waiting you may want to become familiar with the sub-forum for China here on VJ where there is much to talk about and learn.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/94-china/

@Greenbaum - Thank you for the information.  I will check that out!

Good news!  The NVC has fixed their database bug, and I finally have access to the CEAC login page!  I submitted the payments just a few moments ago, so hopefully the status will change to "paid" in a few days and I can begin filling out the IV Application and Affidavit of Support.  I'm thinking that there must be a copy of those forms on the NVC website, so until I can enter them online, maybe I can download the copies, print and begin filing them out.  That way, I'll have all the information in advance and can submit the online form a little faster.

Since I am in China right now, I'm a little nervous about what original civil documents will be needed, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Sincerely,

Frank

You can go to sleep, your case has GOT to be going today !!!!

Unless I'm interpreting something incorrectly, the form you're looking for is the I-134.    Should be able to find everything here ..  https://www.uscis.gov/i-134

Today is a big day for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread in the first post. Scroll down about 3/4 of the way for instructions. Good luck.

You'll receive and email or snail mail hardcopy with your case number and your status on CEAC will go through 3 stages if your case is shipping to your embassy. You have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number.

You can start now because it's a website (ceac.state.gov) you will be checking so have fun and good luck. Be sure to select "immigrant" and enter your case number to track.

Same😂😂🤦🏽‍♂️ We almost have identical dates for NVC. Lets pray it sends today!

I think it's pretty likely that we'll be going out today. Our case number was assigned nearly two weeks ago.
