I sent an email on the asknvc site asking for an update on Sunday.   The following Thursday, I called in the morning and they had nothing.   About 7:30pm that night, here comes an email with the case number.    It can change for you that quickly.

And this is just a general note for those who will be bringing Pinay/pinoy fiance's over to the states.

 Make sure you add TFC and GMA to your directv,comcast/xfinity etc tv packages. At least that way, they can still watch "Showtime" and Vice Ganda...

Our NOA2 was received on Jan 191, we got NVC numbers , case # on Feb 19.   You  can email them and ask the status. that what we did.

My NOA2 was jan 29. Just called and got my case # which they said was assigned Feb 27. So now all I do is wait for it to be sent to Montreal? And I'll probably be having mine shipped tomorrow since they assigned a case # on the 27?
