Nobody can know everything about all immigration processes, but many of us here rely on, and hold your level of expertise in high regard!    And as I've said before, you're pretty selfless about sharng information with others which is really incredible.

My "relationship evidence" objective was obviously to cover the Packet 3 requirements, but moreover to instill as much confidence as possible in my fiancée for her interview, in spite of the fact that the officer may never even look at it.   Packet 3 mentions pics, letters, emails....and any other evidence.   It may take time, but it was very simple and she loves it.

Thank you for your kind words. Your appreciation is my motivation.

By working together as a team you instill confidence in your relationship, your future your "now" state. By working together for a common goal says volumes for your relationship. I hope others will take away what you have learned and manifest it into their own journey.

I salute.

Yeah, the NVC wait is an absolute pain, but a 1/30 NOA2 is challenging to make the March 5 mailing.   The mailing is the important part, and I'd wager you're a shoe-in for March 19.   But we know the feeling.............you just want to know it's safely arrived at NVC.   Here's hoping you see that this week.

Called today and got my NVC #!!!!

I doubt I'll make the March 5th mailing like you said but I'm just glad to have gotten the number! Yahooooooooo :D

Grrr. I called the 0888# on my way home from work. I was able to talk to someone in 6 mins(that's a NEW state record).

just for them to tell me they still have not received my stuff. So still no nvc#. since 1/30. so frustrating.

Did you call today? I just got off the phone with them and got my NVC #!!!!

Update if you got it! Praying for you :D

First, I am no expert when it comes to the entire process but what I have come to understand I have shared with others over the 5 years I have been here. It I can pretty much summarize for a newbie from an "well condition" novice like myself.

I just want to say you have been incredibly helpful and understanding - we appreciate that. I have another question:

I have my case number. I understand that I can check my status on the CEAC website. Right now, it says "AT NVC". I also understand that once it says "ready", I can go ahead with the DS-160 and then schedule the interview. My fiancée is Mexican (I know there is a regional forum, but I believe these steps are universal). Do I have to wait for any notification from the NVC before I proceed? I mean, all they would tell me is to complete the DS-160 and perform the steps on the P3 (which I can already access online like anyone else), right? The thing is that if I didn't do any research throughout this process, I shouldn't technically know about the DS-160 yet. But if the status says "ready" do I need to wait for a notification since I already know I can proceed with the form/payment/scheduling/etc?

Also - the tracking website says "Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment." I have received nothing from them...?

you can fill out your DS160 anytime after NOA2.

Please fill out your timeline as it helps others keep track of estimated processing times.

Y’all I’m so beyond stressed out right now. So I shipped my whole package of important paperwork to my fiancé on February 27th to Tegucigalpa Honduras and i used USPS. I sent it to the school he works at. However, he said his boss at the school told him USPS won’t deliver to the school, only fedex and ups and that he’d need to pick it up at the post office “in town”. However i have no way of finding out how many post offices there are in Tegucigalpa or any way of knowing which one it will be sent to. I called USPS and the lady literally told me “he has to figure that out on his own” 🙄 anyone have any idea what i do now??
