Grrr. I called the 0888# on my way home from work. I was able to talk to someone in 6 mins(that's a NEW state record).

just for them to tell me they still have not received my stuff. So still no nvc#. since 1/30. so frustrating.

We have the same NOA2 date and same for us: NO NVC# ... the waiting game is a killer I tell you! When you get an update on yours let me know... I was wondering if anyone had the same NOA2 date as us and I'm glad I found you :D

Yeah, the NVC wait is an absolute pain, but a 1/30 NOA2 is challenging to make the March 5 mailing.   The mailing is the important part, and I'd wager you're a shoe-in for March 19.   But we know the feeling.............you just want to know it's safely arrived at NVC.   Here's hoping you see that this week.

For the Feb 5 mailing, I saw people with NVC dates of Feb 1.   But for Feb 19  mailing, the latest NVC date that made it was like Feb 12.   So while Feb 5 seemed like they took everyone, the Feb 19 mailing was rough.   But with NVC of 2/20, you're just about 2 weeks before the mailing.   I'd say you will make the March 5 mailing.

I certainly hope so. Lol my case # was given to me 1 day after the 2/19 mailing. Figure two weeks is enough time 🧐

You can, but it is extremely highly unlikely it will be mentioned. By the time you are at interview all of these questions were cleared away. Interview is primarily about one thing, and one thing only: Do two of you have bona fide true relationship? Everything you bring should be along the lines of proving that.

Only what is needed is in your P3 letter. Use it as a checklist. If the ticket was going to be an issue it would have been at the background stage and would have affected you for the NOA2. NOA2 approved so NO issues. Relax. Your going to be in front the CO for 5 min. At this stage they are more interested in your relationship and the two of you are able to demonstrate that you are bonafide couple.  Good Luck.

OK, here's a question on the bona fide relationship.   Technically, the i-129f application does not require relationship evidence, outside of letters of intent and trips to see each other in the past two years.  (obviously, people include other evidence such as pictures, and we did also, but it's really not required)  Packet 3 does not require relationship evidence either.   In Thailand, we're instructed to bring the relationship evidence with us, and I've never heard of anyone having their evidence reviewed.   Seems the interview consists of a few simple questions, then out the door.

So my question, what are they really basing the bona fide relationship on prior to the interview?   Or how are they determining that at the interview if they don't even review the prepared evidence?     Is all this prepared evidence for the event that somehow your letters of intent, or your airline tickets are not in order and further questions develop?    Seems strange.

Got my case number 2/21 but legitimately nervous for Tuesday! 😬

Yeah, I would think anyone with a case number up to 2/22 is going In Transit, and NVC case dates in the following week may be "iffy".   Remember, you're on a good week..........no holiday on Monday like we had for the Feb 19 mailing.

I hope they will include all of us in the 03/05 mailing. I know alot of people weren't included in the 02/19 because of the holiday... so maybe a large majority of the mailing will be the ones left out. Hoping the mailing is big enough for all of us😂🤦🏽‍♂️

Nobody here who is not directly employed by either USCIS or Embassy will be able to answer that. All we have to go by are the instructions that are given on the website, and experiences shared by other people. With Interviews specifically those vary WILDLY between different countries. During my interview, we were asked specifically "Evidence of Relationship?" they didn't specify what it should be, but they wanted to see something. In our case it was a handful of pictures. Later, during the interview, we asked if we have evidences of chats printed out. But this our experiences at specific Ukrainian embassy, with a specific employee. I have no idea what Thailand is doing, and frankly, assuming things go well, I would never have a need to.

Also, it is pretty bold statement to make to say "Only thing is needed are letters of intent" at USCIS stage. Yes, people do often get RFE if one or both of those are missing, but I do feel like USCIS officers look at the totality of the circumstances, and not just one single thing. It is true though the brunt of "bona fide" relationship determinations fall onto Embassy officers doing face to face interview, not USCIS.

Holy smokes........how long was your interview?    GB and many others mention it's like a blink of the eye.   Well, we are solidly equipped on the evidence.  Book loaded with everything imaginable.

Bold statement, eh?  Thanks, but I'm simply referencing the directions of the I-129F.   Squat on "Relationship Evidence" requirement.......outside of those intent letters and trip evidence.

We thought exactly the same thing! It doesn’t say you have to send all that stuff besides things that you think would help to poof that you’ve met and that you wanna get married ( that’s why we send pictures of the wedding rings and engagement ring) I think it’s different for every application. We only send 3 pictures together (with and without my son) and 2 of the engagement and wedding rings with no explanation on the back, no letter about how we’ve met and no intent to marry letters. Only Plane tickets and visa information of 2 trips and never got a RFE
