Do you guys think we will make the March 5th shipment?

If you were assigned a case number prior to Wednesday then there is a good chance your on the good ship lollipop to your embassy. Keep in mind that your mileage may vary. Tuesday next week is the big dance

I’m a bit confused as to timing on the next part.  I have NVC case number and invoice number. Does that mean I can go ahead with the 6 NVC steps and submit our DS-160’s now? Or do I have to wait for something from Montreal?

You can submit your DS-160 application now.  Print and save your confirmation page as a pdf.  That page is what you have to email to the consulate once you receive the P3 from them.

I'm like 99% sure you will. You've had your case number since before the last shipment. You should be on this one for sure.

Cut off for next week's shipment is usually the Wednesday or Thursday prior to the shipping date. So for them it's very iffy for next week but 3/18 looks more promising.

I did, and it allowed me! Yay!

But now both my Application ID, and my daughters say “No Status”. That’s a bit scary.

If they aren't making this shipment neither do we or anyone else whose cases got processed before 19th of February. Now, that would be weird and disappointing as hell :D

Yes truly! I would cry with you! That would put you at 4.5 weeks waiting just to ship alone, not including how long you waited for the case number.

NVC website is so frustrating! I’ve been trying to follow their “6 steps” but I keep getting booted back. I’ve submitted DS-160’s for myself and my daughter but it won’t allow me to Select an Agent, Pay Fees, or anything else.

It just kicks me back to this over and over.

Has anyone had luck completing those steps lately?? It says each step might take weeks before the case goes to Montreal and that’s completely different than what I’ve read here.

Im so confused.

For Montreal we don't do any of that stuff.  There are no fees at this stage. Literally, submitting the DS-160 application and saving the confirmation page is all you need to do.  Then wait for the consulate to send you the P3 about 2-3 weeks after your petition arrives in Montreal.  Please go to the Canada forum to get accurate responses.  Embassies in other countries are entirely different from ours.
