My official NOA2 date is Jan 29. NVC is saying they still haven’t received my case. 🙃 Anybody else in the same boat as me?

I was hoping to make the March 5th cutoff but it seems that I won’t be making it. 😐 Thanks for the info.

oh, agreed !!!   And you want them no later than tomorrow for sure, to try to get that March 5 mailing.   Well, 21 was a Thursday......here's hoping tomorrow is happy news for many of you waiting.

I'll hold my breath...and i'm sure i will pass out waiting.

I got excited that we got the NOA2 faster than USCIS estimated. but now it has been more than 4 weeks and the same bad news every time i call or email NVC. We are prepared to hit the ground running when the embassy gets our application. We are, like many, in a holding pattern. sucks.

is the application receipt/petition number on the DS160 form, the WAC number, the alien number or the case number from the NVC? Also, what are we supposed to put for the intended date of travel when we dont know at this point?! I swear, this entire process hurts my brain 😕

WAC number. There's an option for putting an approximate date when you're not sure. Just put whatever date you want (I did that), it doesn't really matter as long as you are willing to travel.

@Greenbaum - I am following the link that was provided in the notice sent from the NVC.  It doesn’t give an option for non-immigrant.  See the attached screenshot.  I’ll look for a different link.

This is the landing page you should receive when going to ceac.state.gov. I think your problem is you are using a cell phone and it maybe different as I am not a user of ceac. First page go down to the red arrow and select it. Next page enter your case number and that should get you the results you are looking for.

I was looking back at the uscis website and decided to use my WAC# to check my status there. I received my NOA2 a month ago. When i use the status check it says, is this supposed to update to say "sent out" or Approved". Or does uscis just state if they sent your noa1?

On September 14, 2018, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number WAC18xxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by October 14, 2018.

is this supposed to update to say "sent out" or Approved". Or does uscis just state if they sent your noa1? and do not mention that they issued an NOA2

Sometimes, the USCIS won't update with NOA2 information, but as long as you have your paper NOA2 you're golden. I wouldn't worry about the USCIS sites at this point. My old site still shows Received too lol

Thank you for your quick response.

I've printed out a list of my shares from my brokerage account. As well as my latest job offer letter. A current pay stub. W2 from 2018. What else would help?

Read the instructions for the i134...it specifically lists evidence needed to support the form
