The problem is all connections I’m finding are only about an hour or they’re about 16 hours 😩 and of course nothing direct to Chicago

about the only stop I saw in US direct from Coxen Hole is Houston.   Even if he left from one of the bigger mainland airports, I don't see anything direct to Chicago, although the flights seem more reasonably priced.   You won't have any problem chewing through that $300.

If your having problems with the CEAC site timing out when looking up your case it's because the system is trying to cross reference the immigrant case number with the non immigrant AA number.  You select Non-Immigrant from the drop down menu and select the proper Embassy location. Then you enter the AA number from your DS-160 number and presto...a much quicker and consistent response. The output is the same but you no longer have the problem with the system timing out while doing the search...

@Greenbaum - I will try that.  Thanks.

no new NVC arrivals? man, this is killing me. did 90 percent of our immigration system take vacation or something??? we should be seeing five to ten people per day, but it seems most days we get one or two.  I feel like because of the huge delays people are just giving up hope and not even calling anymore...

Yeah, looks like a slug of them on Feb 21, then tapered off.

Yea, kinda depressing because you feel like things are picking up, then they come to a screaching halt.  Using the timeline search confirmed, not one new packet arrived to NVC today. I'm just wondering if it's more that people have just given up calling and even visiting vj altogether. it seems like even in these threads, there's only a few people even posting anymore. I figure most just got tired of waiting and walked away.

Yup, every time I’ve flown to coxen hole i connected. Twice through Houston and once through Miami. Of course Miami is a big American Airlines airport which is where my 300 ticket voucher is coming from so it’s looking like Miami will win out. Of course the island only flies American Airlines on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s. 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

@Greenbaum - I am following the link that was provided in the notice sent from the NVC.  It doesn’t give an option for non-immigrant.  See the attached screenshot.  I’ll look for a different link.

oh, there is a flight between Coxen Hole and MIA direct?   Sorry, I saw some connections through mainland airports, then on to MIA as a second stop, but I missed the direct route between the two.

Yup there’s a direct through delta from Atlanta as well. But most of these airlines are going there twice a week at most and United goes every day. But also coxen hole airport is about the size of my house so🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😂😂

Yeah, it's so unfortunate that he can't use ORD as the POE.   I've heard it's pretty good.   I was thinking about the pre-clearance in Abu Dhabi, but I think we'll end up using O'Hare.
