Yes and interview 2 weeks later.

Ok cools. Thanks again for the answers!. I've got a quick question that @DanielPlainview answered but wasn't entirely sure about. I'll call USCIS regardless tomorrow but I wanna see what's your opinion on the question since USCIS not always answers effectively. Question 12 part 1 in I-134 asks about the age of the Sponsor and for how long it has been residing in the US ?. Since I obtained my citizenship through naturalization it seems that I have to answer this question, but I'm not sure what to write down for the year because I've lived in the US twice. First period from 04-06 and second period from 2011 until present time. Have you ever helped anyone in this scenario for this question?

Is it neccesary to apostille your police certificate records if you only have the one of your home country where you are having the interview?

I think that depends on the requirements of your embassy.

This is what the p3 of my country says, the thing is that I've seen people saying that they've brought them apostilled. Getting them apostilled would be an extra week until I get my appt and I don't really know if it is actually necessary or not.

Yes, what I was showing you is the part that says "Important note".. It talks about whether things should be apostilled or not... The instruction basically says that documents outside of my country should be apostilled, but I've read people that say they've apostilled their police certificate too, so I don't know if it is actually necessary or not since it doesn't totally says it in the instructions and I really don't want to wait for an extra week and make an extra trip to my country's capital for something that is not actually needed

Oh gotcha. Wasnt sure what I was supposed to be reading. It seems to be explained well. If its specifically asking for only those certificates from another country, then you should be fine. Some people also mentioned to get the seal of the ministry of foreign affairs on our documents in Lebanon but the packet 3 specifically says we dont have to so we are just going to follow that. 🤷‍♀️

I have a concern, if anyone could help me, I will deeply appreciate it. I just paid my visa fee at BPI today 9:15am and waited 5 hours to schedule a visa interview and when I input my receipt number and click next it says "No valid record can be found for entered receipt number. Please validate that you receipt number is correct and that you have paid the correct amount for the visa which you are applying for." The receipt number that I used was correct. What seems to be the problem here?

Sorry sir @Greenbaum, i need your help or anyone who can answer. What seems to be the problem here?

Thank you, i'm a bit nervous because it says in the mrv slip to wait 4 hours before scheduling. Good to know that the error I encountered was normal.

@Mark and Rosa - I’ve also had a similar error when trying to log into the CEAC system.  Called the NVC yesterday and they said that the system had a “known” bug” and to “try again in a couple of days”.  I can’t say for sure that you are having the same problem, but It would say it is worth a call to the NVC help center.

I just tried to schedule my interview again and I successfully set it to March 21 (8:10AM). Thank god. Next is to set medical exam at St. Lukes.

Still have not received our case number 😕

NOA2: 01/24

I am the beneficiary and this is what happened, as soon as we got our NOA2 we realized they misspelled my name and we immediately send an email to USCIS letting them know about it, we also call them the day after and they said they were going to update it (the website says is updated)

Do you guys think that was a problem and the reason why NVC has not got the case yet? Should we call USCIS again?

Most likely that's the reason. USCIS may take up to 3 weeks to ship the case after sending NOA2. We got ours on January 18th but they sent it to NVC on February 4th. Then, it also takes about a week for NVC to receive it. That's why if your actual NOA2 was postponed with a name update it may be that they didn't send it to NVC right away. I would call USCIS and ask them to let you know if they sent it and when (if they did).
