Once we recieve our case# and invoice# from NVC. Do we have to wait until NVC sends us a letter or email to begin choosing agent and paying fees? Or can we do that as soon case# is assigned. And sorry guys,  previous post with picture wont delete. Lol😶

So I was on hold waiting on NVC to answer when I read your update and I checked my email and there it was lol the response to my AskNVC email last Thursday with my case number. haha so thank you!!

Lol we must have the exact same timeline. Did u try to log in? Whenever i log in my case# and invoice# , a message comes up about the ds160. Thats why im unsure whether to pay the fees and choose agent now... or do we have to wait for the NVC to send us an email lol

My fiance couldn't log in to his ustraveldocs site (the one where you make the interview appt) so I called them to reset his profile and the lady said we can submit the DS160 and pay the fee now so we are gonna go ahead and do that. lol

Just recieved NVC case number today.  Trying to log on to NVC website to "choose agent" , and "pay fees". But website wont let me. Do I have to wait longer?  Also, I have completed the ds160. Any help would be appreciated

If the case number was assigned today then it takes 24 hours for the system to update to allow you to completer the payment process and scheduling.

Everything is outlined in this document. Please read before going any further so you do not make a mistake as it can be tricky. Also, you need the confirmation number from the DS-160 to complete the registration, fee payment and scheduling. Again refer to the instructions in this link:

OK, so getting a little late in the day, so broke down and called NVC for information on our case and the mailing.  She gave me the in processing response that I anticipated, and I asked if she could tell whether or not I'd make this week's mailing.  Deer in headlights.......had no clue what I was talking about.  I mentioned that the NVC updated cases to "In Transit" send them to the embassy every other week and today was the day.   "I've never heard that before, and I work here.  They are sent electronically as soon as we finish them. ".   😂     Ok, so now based on that response, I'm not sure we can believe anything else that she is guessing for me, but I asked what are the hours for the people working on processing applications.   She responded 6:30am to midnight.  Also asked if the shorted call center hours also applied to the processing group.  She said "no".    The last two Bangkok shipments departed NVC on Wednesday afternoon, so hopefully those of us assigned case numbers late in the cycle still have a shot.

By now are the agents at NVC still addressing you as Mr. Plainview or are you on first name now "Daniel"? I bet they are rushing yours so they can get you the Double Hockey sticks out of "Dodge".

thanks! is that all i need? no need to show the schedule of interview to show for medical exam?

Two things I recommend for you to have uneventful interview experience at USEM. First go to the sub-forum for the Philippines where many of us who have been here for awhile are happy to answer your questions. Guess what it's FREE. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

#2 recommendation. Go to Hanks website and start at the top and walk down through the document. He has assembled every document link, every step that must be taken for medical, CFO and interview and it also is FREEhttp://www.visaconnection-philippines.com/k-1-visa-application.html

you would THINK that would be the case.   but remember, we are in the realm of the "logic free zone"...........where things do not always turn out as you'd expect !!  😏

I have a question. Why is it that I give out links to excellent FREE information to answer every single question you have about the process for USEM and you don't take time out of your busy schedule to spend time reading the information. But you're here asking people from Thailand, Spain and Servia what you need to do? I think I'll just stop answering questions like the one you posed even if I now the answer and have given you links to help. Sorry, but you're not the only one and I seem to be wasting my time. JMHO.

Really? Are you done with your interview? What to do first, pay and schedule interview and then schedule medical or schedule medical then pay and schedule interview?
