Is there any extra copy of DS-3025 when we get medical results overseas? Don’t they take your medical results from you on the POE?

how to obtain a copy of ds-3025?

You should have gotten a personal copy of the DS3025 in addition to the sealed envelope and a copy of your Xray on CD from the Panel Physician. Only the sealed medical envelope should have been handed in at your interview. Your personal copy of the DS3025 and XRay CD were yours to keep.

If you did not you need to contact your Panel Physician and have them send you one.

if your DS-3025 has the checkbox "COMPLETED" checked and medical was within 1-year you submitted the AOS application.  you don't need another medical unless you are told to by the CO at the interview.    Don't do another medical unless you are directly told to do so.

The i-693 has nothing to do with you or your AOS at this point, so forget about that form. As a K-1 you don't have a i-693 and have no use for it either unless you didn't complete your vaccinations at your overseas medical or waited too long with filing for AOS.

All you need (when it comes to the medical part of your AOS application) is a copy of the completed DS-3025. USCIS already has the original, together with the rest of your medical results, but you still send a copy with your application.

Your Panel Physician should have automatically given you a seperate encelope from the sealed medical packet which contains a copy of the DS3025 and a copy of your XRay on CD. If you did not receive one you should contact your Panel Physician to send it to you.

Its a possibility but I doubt it. The original DS3025 was included in your sealed medical packet that was collected at your POE and sent to USCIS to be filed away for your AOS interview. Generally it is advised to submit a photocopy of your copy of the DS3025 with your AOS application and to bring your copy to the interview. If you dont have that copy and USCIS has lost your medical documents, redoing your entire medical is a big possibility BUUUUUUT.... only if USCIS lost your original medical package.

No. The DS3025 is used by overseas panel physicians only. In the US, the US Civil Surgeons use the I693 form. I WOULD NOT STRESS ABOUT NOT HAVING A COPY OF THE DS3025 YET. Not to the point of redoing your whole medical or even just the vaccination portion. It's unlikely it would cause a problem at the interview unless they lost your whole medical file and that in itself is highly unlikely and can be remedied easily AT THAT TIME BY REDOING THE MEDICAL THEN. Until then dont waste your money.

Just try to contact your overseas Panel Physician. They were required to give you a copy of your DS3025 for your personal use plus a CD of your XRay, again, for personal use. Contact them and remind them of that obligation.

You do not need an I693. Your K1 medical is valid as explained above.

Please read this entire thread from the beginning. It has been explained numerous times by numerous people.

A K1 with a scenario such as yourself with a completed medical, a completed vaccination record and who will submit the AOS application within 365 days of the medical exam date does not need an I693.

Many people have already addressed this but it looks like you're still concerned with finding a civil surgeon locally.

If your DS-3025 is marked COMPLETE and no further actions are necessary (such as any vaccinations you did not complete in your original physical/medical) YOU DO NOT need to see a local civil surgeon. A copy of your DS-3025 was sent to USCIS already but you can provide a copy with your AOS application. That's what we did.

In our situation, my husband did need to see a civil surgeon locally because he had one more vaccination requirement to fulfill stateside, based on how they administer them in Sweden versus the US. With that being said - yes, MANY civil surgeons stateside will tell you that you have to complete the entire physical exam with them in order for them to do anything. Unfortunately, it's pretty difficult to argue them on it based on how they are sanctioned. So in cases where you do need to see one for AOS fulfillment purposes, you will probably have to hunt around. We called every single list that was provided on the actual USCIS website for civil surgeons searched by our zip code - none of them wound up being helpful. There is a user-started thread here on the forums (it was started years ago but has been added to over time) where people share local civil surgeons that were able to do what they needed. Just search something like "local civil surgeons DS-3025 I-693" and it comes up close to the top, I believe. I can't remember the exact name of it.

Håll ut, y'all.

The instructions for the form tell what must be filled out. The doctor is not correct.

Take time to read the i-693 instructions.

If you had all shots noted on you DS-3025, send a photocopy with your AOS. See a civil surgeon only if you get to your interview and your interviewer reviews your file and insists on a civil surgeon.

Yes, you must show proof that you complied with vaccination requirements. This is via the completed DS-3025 that you should have a copy of already.

Otherwise you would have to get the necessary vaccintions and submit the I-693 with noted sections completed.

So following this logic, if I filed before my medical expires, and got all my vaccinations, my DS-3025 is complete then I don’t have to file I-693 when I first file AOS nor do I have to present it at the interview? Thank you guys.

Correct. You would not be required to submit an I-693.

The IO can still require a new medical exam + I-693, but this is not common unless there is cause for them to request it.

Thank you for your answer! I assume this would be in the form of a RFE, or they could request a second interview if your issue comes up on the first one, right?

It wouldn't be a second interview. It would be more like, "You need a new medical exam by a civil surgeon. Get that done and mail the sealed envelope back to this office and I will finish up your case."  It would go straight to your local office.

Be aware that there are generic letters prior to your interview telling you what to bring. It can say I-693 if not already submitted. That's not an RFE crafted just for you. You have a medical exam and shot record on file that should take the place of an I-693. Wait and see what the live person doing your interview says. He should have all the original medical results in the file.
