Hey guys,

I had an update on my case saying "My case was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice." So I'm waiting for the mail. Keep you guys posted.

We have very similar timelines and are relatively close in location (LA vs. SD). My wife and stepsons also haven't had any case status update since the "case received" status.

I think the California Service Center is VERY slow. Let's hope they pick up the pace soon

Same case here. What did you do? Did you go to the biometrics appointment or not?

Go to the appointment.  Never miss an appointment because they previously said it wasn’t required.  :)

Gratz, really no interview? which docs did you sent?

Yes. No interview. We sent the usual. Marriage certificate, pictures, copy of transcript taxes, loans, etc. we did not even have a letter from friends or family vouching for our relationship. All in God’s perfect timing.

Goodluck with yours! God bless!

Wow I'm so relief to hear that they're still waving interviews even after updating the interview waiver guidance for officers, enjoy your new card and apply for citizenship asap since residents are very sensitive to removal for little things, a friend of mine almost got removed for a car incident even though no1 was around when he crashed. God bless you.

Thank you! I hope more start rolling in too.

And thank you to this forum and website. Truly a great resource. If anyone has general questions, just send me a message. My background is tort litigation (breach of contract, tortious interference, negligence) but I have a very very basic understanding of immigration law.

There was an update. I didn't check it, but I think my wife said, that she got an email stating that her card was being printed. Then about a week later it arrived in the mail.
