Feb 2019 doesn’t sound possible to me. Looks like have to be prepared to wait at least a year then. ;(

There was someone earlier in this thread that’s already approved.  Def not the norm though.

@Cryssiekins @emmaq I just saw a September 2018 Vermont filer getting approved.  I have also seen a February 2019 Vermont filer getting approved last week but I believe that was more random than normal.

September 2018 is encouraging!!

I just hope my gigantic package is intact and makes it to someone’s desk that’s quick, caffeinated, and in a great mood 😂

@emmaq It happened though.  No case transfer, no RFE, no N-400 filing and no interview.  Most probably random, as I have not seen, so far, any other similar timeline (February 2019) cases getting approved with no interview.  Every once in a while you may come across similar approvals (within 5-8 months of I-751 filing), although it’s not a pattern.

If not random, I can only think of a military spouse filing for ROC, however I have not researched this category thoroughly.  If anyone has done so, your input would be appreciated!

I’m at Vermont with a revived date of 1/28/19 and my status still says “case received”.

Such a long, frustrating wait.

We are in the same boat with the case status stuck at the initial "Case Received" update.

Here's the question, does anyone know or think the following could be possible...

If the case status doesn't change from the initial "case received" even after having your fingerprints (biometrics) taken - could it be at all possible that the biometrics file/document never made it to the Officer assigned for handling/reviewing our case? Meaning, USCIS could be thinking we never did biometrics and possibly even go as far as considering the case abandoned?

Oye - now my anxiety is rising because of course that would be something that happens to me.  Thanks for that LOL just kidding. 😂😂

Did you go with your wife/step-kids to their biometrics?  I wonder if they had the same experience as me.  When I went, I was the last called for that appointment slot, and everyone else was back there at least 5 minutes.  I was done in about 2.  He only took my photo and one thumbprint.  I believe when I went for the AOS biometrics, all 10 of my fingers were printed (scanned).  I was hoping that this means they’re just reusing them.  I don’t have a “common” name (married or maiden), and obviously nothing in my background to be worried about.

I do have the receipt that is stamped, so if this worst case nightmare scenario does wind up being true, at least I have that to back it up.

I’m also remembering how embarrassing it was because I thought the door was locked when I tried to go in, but turns out I just wasn’t using enough arm strength to open it.  😩

Hahaha... I know what you mean as I got a little mini anxiety attack thinking about this 😂

I did go with them and I can't remember if they did all 10 fingers or not. It was smooth though as far as I can remember, nothing stood out and they weren't like the last group or something. I of course kept their papers as well, I should pull them to see if I can figure out if they did all 10 fingers or not LOL

Hi, I have received a letter today for biometric appointment at my nearest ASC location in VA. After almost 11 months, this is the first correspondence I’ve received from USCIS. I’m also eligible for N-400 next week and thinking to apply for it on 1st. Hi, I received a letter today for biometric appointment at my nearest ASC location in VA. I think it's a hit or miss on this subject. My wife is also eligible to apply for citizenship next week... but we decided to wait it out a few more months.

Thanks, I’m planning to join Army reserve but don’t wanna go as enlisted since I’m eligible for O. Only reason I’m planning for N-400 because I’m reaching age limit for entry and have to get citizenship within next year to qualify. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

SRC filers: I received letter for appointment for biometrics on 8 Nov 2019. I was earlier mailed that biometrics are waived.

01/09/2019  Mailed ROC package via FEDEX to Lewisville,Texas

01/11/2019  Package delivered to USCIS office

01/16/2019  Received text message with service center as SRC

01/17/2019  Status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ as accepted. Check submitted electronically to my bank. Not cashed yet.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically.

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn

by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled, but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

03/24/2020 Case status got changed to card being produced

I got my biometrics taken on 5/1/19 and they updated the website almost the next day. Maybe try to confirm. I when to the local office here in Phoenix Az. I'm on the California center.

Same case here.  SRC, received waiver letter earlier. Glad it wasn't an RFE.

Sent docs on January 12. Just checked my wife’s status again today, after biometrics on August 24, now card sent and will receive on Monday, October 28.

God is good!

That’s amazing!!!! Happy for you!!! I sent my docs 5 days after you and I am still in “fingerprints received “ status at WAC. Hopefully they work faster!

My wife’s fingerprints from her previous case were approved for her current I-751 case online in May. Today, we just got a letter requesting she show up for biometrics on Nov. 7th 2019. What’s going on here? Very concerned. They also forgot to mail her original extension letter to her so she had to ask for a “second” one, but that was already taken care of. Just seems like things are a little messed up?

Ours was LIN. Didn’t expect it since LIN has the longest estimated timeline. We have not been checking but last night when i did, i was shocked. Had to double check if i put the correct case number. Haha.

But so thankful for the blessing. Just want to share to spread the positivity. Hope you get yours soon!
