Thanks for letting us know. I am going out on a vacation internationally for 2 weeks at the end of August and that will be my 1st time to travel outside of US since I got here. Hopefully, there wont be an issue on return to US with extension letter + expired GC. Has anybody experience trouble on coming back to US with extension letter+expired GC?

I travelled to India for 2 weeks with extension letter.. There was no issue except that i didn't eat an apple given to me during flight and so my bags were searched for food and agricultural stuff on arrival in US.

01/09/2019  Mailed ROC package via FEDEX to Lewisville,Texas

01/11/2019  Package delivered to USCIS office

01/16/2019  Received text message with service center as SRC

01/17/2019  Status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ as accepted. Check submitted electronically to my bank. Not cashed yet.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically.

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn

by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled, but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

03/24/2020 Case status got changed to card being produced

Hi everyone! Wondering if this happened to any one we have had a weird process!  We filed in January and received our biometric appointment all in normal time and we then went to travel over seas and are still here visiting my husband's family in Israel!  We got an email that our interview was scheduled July 18th and then cancelled two hours later.  We called to confirm that it was canceled because I have heard that notification can be false and you might miss your "cancelled interview!"  Anyways after that the case status changed to Decision.  Is it possible they decided to skip our interview? I know they are now interviewing almost everyone so I was surprised by that.  I have been waiting to see what will happen and then today our case status changed to Initial Review.  From what I can tell that is usually when they are initially reviewing the paper work to be complete/ doing biometrics&background tests which we had done months ago.

Did this happen to anyone else ? We are with MSC processing center.

Also I saw other people had changed their address and had problems we changed our address and it said it went through but then today got a notice that the notice they sent (I'm assuming that the interview was canceled from July?!) Was returned in the mail!  It will always update if an interview is scheduled on the computer right ? I don't need to rely on the paper mail? Thats my worst fear that they will schedule an interview and send it to my moms old address because she moved and somehow it won't update on the status check online!

Anyways thanks for all your help! Interesting to see all the January filers at such different stages of the process!  Any MSC filers have their interviews yet?

Thank you for informing us about your experience. Hopefully, we will be over with this ROC process soon

I just saw that one of the VJ members has his ROC approved and surprisingly he/she filled in March, 2019. Never understood how USCIS work and process cases?

I mean, ideally, that’s a fair processing time, but definitely not the standard.

I feel like my ROC will be troublesome because the K1 and AoS process went fast and smooth, so I’m due for a headache, right?

Sometimes I think files get worked in the wrong order by accident, although that works in favor of that person.

I do wish there was some more transparency.  I’ve had issues with UPS and USPS lately with packages so I irrationally fear that USCIS had lost my case when it was transferred to VT, and I will forever be in limbo. Haha.

I think you will be fine but ROC process so far hasn't been so stressful , hopefully things will move forward for us very soon but I saw some of the folks from earlier 2017 , 2018 or even 2016 are still waiting on their approval for ROC and made me curious why the heck USCIS are taking so long? Look like they just randomly processing case which is not fair for folks waiting on their approval since 2017, 2018. I believe everyone should be fairly treated regardless of how strong or weak their cases are?

Once the case goes outside of "normal processing times" according to their timeline, I believe you can get your respective, local senator involved to "help" inquire.

We are planning to relocate to Dallas, TX at the end of this year. My wife will probably relocate earlier than I. I will probably stay longer due to my commitments with current job here in Albany, NY. so my questions is do I need to notify USCIS for our relocation plans? Our current address will change coz we wont be staying in same apt once my wife move out and I will try to find small apt to stay for few months but I will still have access to my current address once we move out? What do you guys suggest me?

Just got my biometrics notice in the mail!

My timeline as a January Filer and I'm with the Nebraska processing center (LIN):

Jan 8th - Mail in application

Jan 10th - Arizona receives my application

February 6th - I still had nothing in the mail, no acknowledgement, so I called USCIS. They found no record of it being mailed so put in a request to "re-send"

February 15 - Received email that they would resend my NOA

February 23rd - Received the NOA in the mail

March 23rd - GC expired

August 10th - Biometrics Notice came in the mail

Hello All,

Look like there is a  problem with email address  signed with USCIS account for case alert? I have to register myself again for email.

Also do you guys experience the same blank information when you entered the receipt no?
