Hello, just a quick question, I was receiving an email 1 at the begging of the month, one at the middle and 1 at the end, where it says "We are still reviewing your case and there are no updates at this time We last took action on your case on May 1, 2019" which was my biometric appointment, but after June 12 email, I have not received anything. Has this happen to any of you?

Thank you and I hope everybody is doing amazing.

Thought I’d quickly share my experience traveling with the extension letter/expired green card.

I received bad news from my parents back home and had to travel to Europe. My husband and I were there for a week. We re-entered the US in Chicago, there was a long line but an employee saw I was holding the notice of action and she directed me to a really short line meant for Visa holders. The border agent was the most courteous and the friendliest officer I’ve ever dealt with. I explained that I was sent to him because I was traveling with an expired green card. He inspected the letter and actually gave my husband (the US citizen) a harder time than me. My husband’s passport was 7 months from expiring so his picture is almost 10 years old and the border agent asked to see his driver’s license too. But he didn’t ask me anything.

Thought I’d share this with you all, while we patiently wait for news

Thanks for letting us know. I am going out on a vacation internationally for 2 weeks at the end of August and that will be my 1st time to travel outside of US since I got here. Hopefully, there wont be an issue on return to US with extension letter + expired GC.Has anybody experience trouble on coming back to US with extension letter+expired GC?

Do you have the USPS Informed Delivery app?  If not, you should download it.  It will give you a look at actual pictures of mail, so you can see if anything comes from USCIS.

Along with that, is there anyone who will be at your residence to collect the mail?  You can ask them to open anything that comes from USCIS.

An RFE would give you something like 90 days to respond, so that will be okay.  The interview request, if any, could be rescheduled.

Whoa.. I’m actually surprised.  I got the 751 reminder at my old address.  I had updated it 9 months prior.

Nice to see a story of someone’s address change actually being updated 👍
