Does anyone file I-751 from the Nebraska Center with LIN******** have any update on their files for the biometric appointment? Besides two duplicated NOA1 I got after an e-request, I still have nothing.

Hi, My case is assigned to Nebraska service center and I have  extension letter, nothing after that. My case starts with LIN as well. Current status show as your case has been received and no further action is required. No biometric either?

Hi everyone, I haven't received the biometrics notice yet and I think I will get one since in my noa it says that they will send me the biometrics appointment on a separate letter.

Do you think I should make a request for it? Would that help?

Thanks!

So I made a request for the biometrics on May 24th and days later they sent me an email saying they will schedule it. But a couple of days ago I saw my status online that says "My fingerprints review is completed" then I called and they confirmed is completed so apparently I won't receive an appt. notice. My receipt starts with SRC. I hope I won't have an interview either...just have to wait and see.

If they need biometrics, they’ll send you a separate letter.

Short Answer:  A really long time.  That’s why the extension letter is for 18 months.  Some cases will take longer than that and you will need a stamp.

My biometrics date was for April 16 2019. I went to the place and everything went smoothly and very fast.

The latest status online is (and it has been for a looong time):

"Fingerprint Review Was Completed
As of April 18, 2019, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXX, at our Vermont Service Center location. We will let you know if we make a decision or need anything from you"

My wife and 2 stepsons completed their biometrics on April 29th, 2019 and nothing has updated on their case status to reflect that they even had biometrics requested not to mention completed

Still shows as "Case was received... receipt notice was sent..."

The important thing is having the extension letter and being able to continue "as normal". The wait times are approx. a year so patience is key..

Mine hasn’t reflected that I did biometrics either.  We’re all approaching 5 months in, so there’s that.  This is the least stressful filing since I’m not desperately waiting for an approval to start my life with my love... or for a silly card to allow me to work or travel.  Just waiting to close the second last leg of this journey.

I’m guessing someone took a file from the wrong pile?  Haha worked out to their benefit though :)

No I think (and I noticed) that anyone who got their green card through IR-1/CR-1 Visa  instead of K1 got their process accelerated.
