I filed last january 2019 and when I check my status, my case says that it is ready to be scheduled for an interview. How long do I have to wait for a schedule to arrive in the mail?

I think a few members here have that update, but I believe it’s still some time (9+ months) before you get an interview, as the local office still has to deal with all the other petitions filed.  Depending on which local office you’re at it may not be as long of a wait, but the processing times are still 15 months minimum.

Thanks for the response. I figured I still have to wait even longer. It’s to good to be true if my case is quicker than expected. Hahaha

Yes and yes. Why?

We all noticing trend if you are CR1 files goes to MSC and turns fast to ready to schedule for interview but it will be depend on your local office.. seems all CR1 will have interview at least that what trend look like follow the msc thread .. hopefully that won't slow the process requiring interview for all CR1

Are you sure you have an interview next month?  There is no mention of biometric appointment or receiving NOA1 in your timeline.

When is your interview? It’s been a month since I had that status and so

far I have not received an interview date. I heard it takes awhile. Is your case expedited?

We got our interview notice the same day we moved to a different state. Our move was temporary for 8 months and i tried to explain that to the representative, but they had a hard time understanding. Now i have 2 interview letters from two different states. Anyone know how to handle this?

We didn't update the timeline yet. We received NO1 and we had the biometrics appointment already.

The Case number started by MSC.

It is CR1 visa.

Hi everyone, I haven't received the biometrics notice yet and I think I will get one since in my noa it says that they will send me the biometrics appointment on a separate letter.

Do you think I should make a request for it? Would that help?

Thanks!
