Anyone has SRC got their fingerprint appointment done?

SRC also. No biometrics appointment here either.

The Jan. 2018 filers have a list of filers with NOA dates, Biometric dates and approvals.
Most filers at VSC show biometrics, but CSC shows a much smaller percentage. Maybe some of us won't have Biometrics.

My wife is SRC and didn't need Biometrics. Last month when I did the E request for the extension letter, I also requested the biometrics in the same request. The next week we received the extension and a letter that they would use the biometrics on file.

However only annoying thing is the myaccess site only shows the status as case received etc. It didn't update after the letters were sent out.

My wife and stepsons completed biometrics exactly 1 week ago (last Monday) and their case status hasn't changed either - still just shows as "case received" (on both the old and new case status websites).

I did mine 2 months ago, and it still hasn’t changed on myaccount, and my receipt number doesn’t even work on the old site.

I filed for Removal of Conditions in January of this year. They received all of the paperwork on Jan. 28th. I hope it doesn't take too long to finish this grueling process. I checked the receipt number today on the USCIS website and the system says "My Case was Received."  I did receive a letter of extension for 18 months.

Processing times are 15-24 months, across all service centers, so, sit back and relax, we’re all in for a long wait... again.

My wife just got her Extension Letter yesterday, 5/8. This was only after requesting (twice) that she have the extension letter sent out after they failed to send any receipt of her application from this past January '19. We also requested biometrics at the same time, but her account now says "Fingerprint Review Was Completed", so are we to assume that she does not need biometrics? Also, she has an SRC number, whatever that means (?).

Hi,

We have filled our I-751 on 12/24/2018 and case was received after two days so our timeline so far is:

Package Sent - 12/24/2018

Package Received - 12/26/2018

NOA sent - 01/15/2019

Request for NOA not received - 02/05/2019

NOA received - 02/15/2019

Request for Biometrics notice not received - 04/25/2019

Waiting to assigned request for processing......

Nebraska center has waiting time from 15-23.5 months, that's a long time to wait :(

I have called on April 25th for not receiving Biometrics appointment letter and they gave me request number. Today when I was checking the status, it shows that my request has been completed and assigned to an officer. Now it's showing that request was completed and notice has been sent?

Here’s a fun story to highlight how little some people know about immigration:  Someone in HR notified my boss that the date on my greencard was past due and to obtain an update.

She asked.  I told her it’s not like a license, they don’t just send you a new card, 2 years or 10 years, it’s a process that takes an unreasonable amount of time.  She turned green, and was worried that I was out of status and would have to stop working, so I told her I have a letter as proof that my status is valid, but reminded her that while I don’t personally care, the fact remains it is actually illegal to ask me for it, and another employee with LPR status *may* care and cause a problem, so perhaps HR should review these policies since there are a number of non-citizen employees.  She said her primary concern is not losing me (lol nice to have job security) and that she will discuss with HR.  I work in the legal department, so I know we use outside counsel for employment immigration matters.  How this never came up in discussion is beyond my comprehension.  When I started working there in January, the HR admin threw a fit about my restricted SS card.

I know it’s going to be a lifelong battle educating people about the immigration process, but an HR department that deals with immigration matters regularly should know, you know, the friggin’ basics.

Wow, that’s super upsetting! I can’t believe they put you in this position... to have to defend your right to keep working. Honestly, though, ignorance is not an excuse.

I’m surprised our HR department hasn’t knocked on my door yet. They made a huge deal when I was hired and nothing came up with my SSN on my background check report and they made me go to Social Security admin to get “proof” my number was “real”. And the administrators just shook their heads when I told them my card with the number on it wasn’t enough proof for them. Fortunately, the lady at the Social Security office there was nice enough to give me her extension number so they could call her and she’d explain why my number was “odd”.

Oh well

Your story tells a lot.

Just because you have immigrants status means a lot of burden to prove in today's job market (not to mention many social studies indicate if you use typical English names you will have more chance to get interviewed than using foreign names).

Many times they are so anxious about the expiration date and ask for proof. Today's world is no longer holding an assumption that everyone is innocent until proven guilty but is twisting to an assumption that everyone is guilty until proven otherwise. You have to prove your right or you will lose your right.

It's all coming from INA states burden of proof shall relies on always applicants, not government.
