I travelled this past weekend with my husband by land border to Canada, to visit some of my friends.  I was super nervous coming back to the US with the extension letter, but CBP couldn’t have been nicer.  He actually made a comment about the exorbitant wait time for ROC and I hesitantly kinda laughed it off, and then he was like “I opened the door, you can be honest.”  So I said “yeah, it sucks.  It really sucks”, which then got my husband going about how ridiculous it is that they just don’t send a new card or process these faster.  He told me to make sure I apply for citizenship as soon as my window opens to be done with the whole thing.  I was just happy that it was a simple process.  He scanned the expired card, read the first 2 sentences of the letter, calculated what 18 months would be, and then let us on our way, and reminded me to get a stamp if I don’t hear back about ROC or naturalization by next October. 👍👍

Hi,

We have filled our I-751 on 12/24/2018 and case was received after two days so our timeline so far is:

Package Sent - 12/24/2018

Package Received - 12/26/2018

NOA sent - 01/15/2019

Request for NOA not received - 02/05/2019

NOA received - 02/15/2019

Request for Biometrics notice not received - 04/25/2019

Waiting to assigned request for processing......

Nebraska center has waiting time from 15-23.5 months, that's a long time to wait :(

Hi

i did my biometric appointment yesterday at San Francisco field office. Today as a miracle I was able to login with my case number on the old website and it says fingerprint review was completed! I was also able to see my inquiries about not receiving NOA and my amendment request  which was completed😌.

I still haven't received my bio appointment letter.

I am travelling for two weeks, so i am thinking of filing request after coming back.

01/09/2019  Mailed ROC package via FEDEX to Lewisville,Texas

01/11/2019  Package delivered to USCIS office

01/16/2019  Received text message with service center as SRC

01/17/2019  Status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ as accepted. Check submitted electronically to my bank. Not cashed yet.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically.

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn

by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled, but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

03/24/2020 Case status got changed to card being produced
