My husband and I sent our package last week, it was delivered yesterday. Not looking forward to the waiting game and the additional stress this is going to cause... I’m trying not to worry too much. Hopefully it will all go well... but the processing times made me roll my eyes. Can’t believe I’ve been in the immigration process for over 3 years now already. It’s good to know I’m not alone in this.

Good luck to everybody! Keeping my fingers crossed

Thanks to Visajourney, I prepared everything on my own without a lawyer!!!

I sent mine out on Jan 5th and my green card will expire on March 24.

I submitted the change of address on uscis like 4 months after I moved, so I haven't received any reminder mail to the current address.

I'm kind of concerned about where they will be sending receipt mail, and such. I resubmitted the change of address and also changed my address on USPS just in case.

I just used a rubber band to hold the whole documents, used heavy paperclips, and post-its as tabs at the bottom of the evidence documents.

I sent out mine through Fedex with the tracking number. It's supposed to be delivered on Wednesday.

Now I just have to wait....It's nerve-wracking!! I really wish the processing time goes faster.

Good luck to everyone!!

I submitted a USCIS request for change of address on 02/26/2018 and they still sent my notice to file I751 to the old address... so I’m not sure if that would even help

It doesn’t.  My best guess is they use the address associated with that filing.

Additionally, I feel like not 100% of filings even get the reminder.  It’s probably a box they have to check or something 🙄

Yep, we haven't moved since the green card was processed and definitely didn't receive a reminder.

That's only 4 working days.  Keep calm.  It should be cashed this week.

Hang in there.  Only been a couple days.  At least we know they are working and processing things.  👍 Hopefully you’ll see the check cashed before end of week 🤞

I need to get mine out ASAP,  to ensure I receive the extension letter as quickly as can be expected.  Just waiting on a few last minute items to put in the package.

I know, it's big wait game.

Send asap ... I was almost ready back in November but I kept adjust and add more stuff end up sending it on month away from my gc expiry date..

My window just opened last week, and I have been working on the evidence portion (like actually downloading our bank statements etc) since early October bc I knew it would come down to the wire and I would have to chase stuff down.  Unfortunately, one of the items I’m waiting for is what I feel is a piece of crucial evidence, so definitely need that, though should be, within a week or so.  It’s time

sensitive, so worst case, it will be before the end of January.  My GC doesn’t expire until beginning of April, so I have some cushion.

I empathize though, because I usually wait on things thinking it will be easy to get stuff together, but it never is.

Hello Jan 19 I-175ers:

I can report the following:

UPS delivered our disorganized I-175 document lump on Wednesday, Jan 9, 2019. Today, Monday January 14th, my bank is showing the check in process of being cleared. Subtracting out the weekend, it took them 4 days to fish our check out of the haphazard mess we submitted and get it into their deposit system.

Veridict on UPS: Expensive as heck but got the job done.

I'll let everyone know how long it takes to get the Extension Letter, Notice of BioMagnetism appointment, and whether they actually ever really truly send us e-mail for G-1145 notification. (I foolishly didn't give them a cell number to send a text...which is easier than e-mail.)

Those waiting for checks to be cashed...should be any day now.

i-751 Received 1/9/19
Check Cashed 1/14/19
(G-1145 Email Receipt of case #: Never Received)
