I eventually got my biometrics appointment letter about 25 days later..

Our timelines are the same, except our package went to Phoenix. What service center did yours go to?

Even longer  here. i thought of sending mail to congressman about it but decided against it because i am not sure if it as serious as other people's issue. 

Will file another e request in 2 days and if that doesn't get acted on will email congressman.

Our receipt number starts with EAC, so Vermont, right? What is yours - SRC is Texas?

Did they give you a reason why your infopass could not be scheduled?

 

We need to go to a family member's wedding in Brazil in October - I sure hope this gets resolved way before. We would have bought our tickets already, but I don't feel we should until we know we can travel!!

Yes, it is Texas. 

 

This morning I went online and scheduled an infopass appointment for Memphis. I am hoping that the extension letter will arrive before the appointment on the 26th.
That is the last day my wife has available before her card expires April 1. 

I am going to have her call the 800 number and see if she can find out something.

We submitted an e-request Feb. 27. Of course, it said to wait 21 days.

The information i was given that Atlanta USCIS  no longer schedule infopass for people who haven't received NOA-1 unless they have travel plans or their jobs are in jeopardy.

I believe in your case, since you have a travel plan already, in worst case they will give you infopass appointment like Rick & Apple got.

It looks like that whole region is no longer scheduling infopass. I checked Birmingham, Jacksonville, FL. Those show the same as Atlanta.

I believe Oct, Nov & Dec 2018 filers are also waiting for their biometrics from Nebraska

My husband's work isn't in jeapordy as he owns his own company and we don't have plans to travel outside the country until October. His GC expired on 3/10. Do you think we should schedule an infopass appt? I've heard where some offices have kept the GC - I don't want that to happen.

Yeah, but I think we're going to wait until we hear something from having filing the e-request before we schedule an infopass appt.
