Just finished bio-metrics at Elizabeth NJ Application Support Center.  Ridiculously long line as usual but it seemed to have cleared up by the time we left.  We arrived at 8:30, didn't get into the building until 10:15 and finished by 11:30.

Did you receive the extension letter (2 page NoA 1)?  If yes, then there will not be an update until your case is processed (15-18 months according to processing times).  The NoA is you proof of status for work and travel purposes.  Note:  even without it, you still have status, just no tangible proof.

 

If you don’t have the NoA, submit a request online, or call USCIS so they can mail it to you.

Press 1 for English, then 1, then 2, then 2. After the final 2, press # each time it prompts you to enter a number. You will need to do this three time.

01/09/2019  Mailed ROC package via FEDEX to Lewisville,Texas

 01/11/2019  Package delivered to USCIS office

01/16/2019  Received text message with service center as SRC

01/17/2019  Status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ as accepted. Check submitted electronically to my bank. Not cashed yet.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically. 

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

                        The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn) 

                        by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled,but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

03/24/2020 Case status got changed to card being produced

No, I spoke to a person on Live Chat from USCIS and they said there was a backlog for extension letters. I ended up going down to the USCIS office in Boston and asking to see someone about it. They gave me a stamp in my passport that they said would act as a temporary visa (I-551) until May 3rd, by which time I should have received my letter. For now, I'm good I think. They said I'm fine to work as normal.

Hi, Yes...but I called them on Wednesday..The customer service told me, USCIS sent out  a letter saying about my case status on 26th Feb. This is not the extension letter, so the customer service connected me with the immigration officer. The officer told me the online system misunderstood my request, so sent me a wrong letter. Then, the lady sent a follow up response asking for the extension letter. So, I think I have to wait few more days :(

Awww, but at least the lady understood what you actually need. Hopefully it doesn't take too long. Better late than never 😌 you'll have it in your hands soon enough 🤞

Got my letter in the mail yesterday.  Yay! 

Now for bio letter..... 

Has anyone ran into the problem of not receiving the letter and missed appointment? I'm hoping that this letter won't be an issue like the NOA.
