Hi guys

did anyone successfully got the NOA after filing non-delivery? And how long does it usually take? I called to file non- delivery on Feb 8 but have not heard from them since then. The agent told me someone would contact me in a few days in regards of sending another NOA. My center is EAC.

Hi there - I did and received it about 2 weeks after the call. You should receive it soon. I am NYC and EAC as well

So I submitted my i751 forms on January 8 and they recieved it on January 14.

I signed up for e-notifications so I recieved a message on Jan 17 saying they recieved it  a reciept notice will follow which I haven’t recieved it yet. It is Feb 21 today!

Also the LIN number doesn’t help! Just says no information about your case. I’m in chicago!

Any advices and help would be appreciated 🙏🏻

Hi everyone my money order was cashed the 31st and I haven't heard a thing. I forgot the g1145 form 😒 my green card has expired this week and my employer put me on leave of absence until next week, after that they said they'll have to rehire me when i have proof of work authorization. Is there anything else I can do or show them? I read the I-9 page that was posted here but I'm not sure if theyll take it. So stressed. I called last week and told them my money order was cashed 31st Jan and she said she cant find a case there and it can take 30 days. I mailed it the 3rd week of Jan roughly. Seeing feb filers get something back and the reps can't seem to find my case I dont know what to do. I got a copy of the cashed money order from the bank and dont see any case number on it either 😢

Sometimes HR are not fully aware of immigration rules. I emailed the link and snapshot of the USCIS emplyer manual to my HR and they told me that they did not have completed I-9 form for me.

Once I gave them copy of my green card,  they told me that I am not required to refill I-9 form as per the manual.

Please try talking to your HR and explain about the rules stated in i9 form. Find out what are they using as your employment authorization. Please call USCIS again and tell them about your job situation and that your green card is expired. Some people ask for tier 2 officers to talk to who have more info.

01/09/2019  Mailed ROC package via FEDEX to Lewisville,Texas

01/11/2019  Package delivered to USCIS office

01/16/2019  Received text message with service center as SRC

01/17/2019  Status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ as accepted. Check submitted electronically to my bank. Not cashed yet.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically.

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn

by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled, but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

03/24/2020 Case status got changed to card being produced

Since it has been over 30 days, you can fill in " no notice obtained" e request. Check the link in my signature. You can also call them and ask them to either give you infopass to get stamp or send your notice if they haven't sent yet.

If you provided your 2yr conditional Green Card when you starting working for your current employer to complete the I-9 form, then your employer cannot ask you for proof of work authorization again or do Re-verification. It would be illegal for them to do this.

As mentioned in the previous post, sometimes HR folks are not fully aware of the rules. I posted links from the Handbook for Employers M-274 (Official USCIS guide for Form I-9) in this thread earlier (see link below). You can send them to your employer so that they can re-educate themselves.

Secondly, if you have an unrestricted Social Security Card, you can also use that for proof of work authorization

I am in the situation as well. My case was received on Jan 9 and is filed at Nebraska (LIN)

You can call USCIS at the 1-800 number and create a request for Non-delivery of receipt notice. OR you can create the request online here:

If your 2yr GC is expiring within 30 days, you can also get an I-551 passport stamp from your local field office in order to show proof of LPR status for travel/New Job/Driver License Renewal

Thank you all for all your help! I emailed hr the I9 handbook today. Also spoke with someone again today at uscis and they still cannot find my case even though the payment has been cashed since 31st. So she put in a service request for me, I explained my employment issue too. So she put me on an urgent scheduling queue for a stamp. As soon as I ended the call I got a call with an appointment for tomorrow to get my passport stamped. Breathing a little easier, but worried they've lost my file.

Again thank you all!

What do you think was "improper" in your application?

1. Did you send the right fees?

2. Did both of your sign?

3. Did you include a copy of your GC?

Hi everyone!

30 days from the acceptance of my case passed. I haven't received my NOA nor biometrics appointment yet,  so I called them and was able to schedule an infopass for next Tuesday. Can I still file an e request even if they scheduled an appointment? Will they send me also a Noa receipt  or one substitues the other ? For how long the Stamp on the passport is valid or how much that stamp extends my status? I received a txt with a receipt number WAC.

Thank you!

1. Did you send the right fees?

2. Did both of your sign?

3. Did you include a copy of your GC?

I know why it was rejected. Instead of it arriving on the scheduled 1/31/19 date, FedEx delivered it early on 1/30/19.

We'll resubmit the package with an updated date on our cover sheet and signed application
