Did you use your 2yr conditional GC when you starting working for your current company & filled the initial I-9?

If yes, then your employer cannot ask you to refill / re-verify the I-9 form again.

Thanks a lot for answering me. I was hired by my company on H1-b. Then i AOS'd to green card and moved states to be with my husband.

I have been continuously employed for last 8 years,so i think what you mentioned applies.

I am going to send them this snapshot and get clarification of what document they are using for my employment.

01/09/2019  Mailed ROC package via FEDEX to Lewisville,Texas

01/11/2019  Package delivered to USCIS office

01/16/2019  Received text message with service center as SRC

01/17/2019  Status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ as accepted. Check submitted electronically to my bank. Not cashed yet.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically.

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn

by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled, but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

03/24/2020 Case status got changed to card being produced

Our mail that was "On Hold" due to an international trip was finally delivered today.  We received an original I-797 Receipt Notice extending my wife's green card for 18 months.  Since she already did the biometric, it's back to the waiting game.  Good luck everyone!

How to know if it's original or duplicate copy. What we received is green papers two pages.

Also, if your 2 yr GC has not yet expired, you can still try to apply for the unrestricted Social Security card.

Thank you for pointing this out. Very helpful in our case. I am not being lazy, but I could not find this information in the M-274 I9 handbook.

Would you mind pointing me to the page where this information sits in the handbook?

Page 47.  Question & Answer #17.  They should not reverify an expired green card that was not expired at the time they originally verified.

Hi guys

did anyone successfully got the NOA after filing non-delivery? And how long does it usually take? I called to file non- delivery on Feb 8 but have not heard from them since then. The agent told me someone would contact me in a few days in regards of sending another NOA. My center is EAC.

Currently waiting for cases to be transferred to NVC

It's light green with watermark and ours was also 2 pages.  So that is an original.
