Wow that was super fast! I sent it on the 17th, received on the 22nd due to holiday, cashed check on the 25th and still nothing. Every time I call them they tell me the receipt has not been sent yet...

Got the email on 11Feb that they will send a duplicate but nothing yet as of today. Notice that people usually get it 4 days or so after the email. Frustrating! Hopefully things will change soon

Is there anybody here who are paying by credit card with a receipt number starting with eac? If yes how long does it take to get charged? To receive your extension? Thanks for your feedbacks!

Yeah I agree, I thought it’s going to be smooth sailing as we already have a Green Card. Hopefully things will get better!

You get charged within 2 or 3days of acceptance

Thank you. By acceptance you mean the day they process the file and give it a receipt number?

My case was received at the Arizona Lockbox location on Jan 10th, but I hadn't received a NOA yet, so I called on February 6th. They started a case for me, and today (Feb 15) I finally received an email that they're going to "resend" the NOA. Obviously they didn't send it the first time. But they say they did and now they are "resending" it. The bright side is that the email gave me my Receipt number, which I did not have to look my case up online due to never having received a receipt!

Today I received the NOA stating that my Green Card is extented for 18 months from the expiration date of my current Green Card. I had attached a photo album (with soft cover from Shutterfly) as supporting document and they sent it back saying that they cannot use that format in my file.

I got a courtesy notice today. Mail says official was sent to attorney. I'll be checking in with him to see if he got the actual. My timeline if anyone finds this useful. It seems early Jan filers did not get notices sent, perhaps due to a glitch or government shutdown

 

04Jan- package received, EAC receipt 

31Jan - called to notify no receipt was received

01Feb - Biometrics appt received

11Feb - Bio Done

16Feb - received courtesy copy will update if lawyer received original

For those that have received their Bio-metrics letters, does the website get updated from the generic message to anything?  Or does it just stay with the same generic message?

for me its same I am still yet to receive 18 months extension letter. I m going to call USCIS on Tuesday since my 30 days is already over.

I filed on January the 17th, received a date for biometrics but they did not send the NOA1.

My wife is in exactly the same boat. We filed on January 10th, got a confirmation text and the money withdrawn around January 17th and got a Biometrics notice for this Thursday but still no NOA1 Receipt letter. The receipt number sent both by text and on the biometrics notice are not recognized online either and my wife's Green Card expires this Saturday. Definitely going to call on Tuesday to see what's up. Anyone know if this is normal?

I did my biometrics on February the 14th. They haven’t texted me the notice either.
