I’m never lucky, but from zooming in on the picture (bc of course I’m going to irrrationally obsess over this all day) it looks like it’s two pages long.

Optimistic me is hoping 1 page is an extension and 1 page is the biometrics appointment.

Pessimistic me is feeling like it’s a really robust RFE, even though I logically know that I included more than enough quality evidence and secondly, there’s NO way they’re already flipping through those pages to demand something else.

21 months with nothing pending with USCIS was a gift!  Haha

Did you have to contact them regarding the extension letter? Is this the first i751 related correspondence?

No.  They just received my filing last Monday.  I got a text on Thursday, and the check was cashed on Friday.

I just don't understand how some people filing have already DONE bio metrics and some don't have a thing, when they received it over a month ago.🤷‍♀️

I feel like things have to get so backlogged and they get bombarded with service requests that they put a plan into action to clean it up.

I remember when we filed the K1 petition there was a tremendous backlog (according to the old processing charts).  Then it seemed as though they shifted the workloads around a bit, and bam, we had the approval within 3 months of filing.

I agree there should be some consistency in how things are done, but I guess it also depends on the individual assigned to the case.  I know my work partner prioritizes differently than I do, so I’m up to date on things where she is a week or 2 behind on those.

At least we all have each other for this leg of the journey :)
