Hello there,

I sent my file at the beginning of the year and yesterday I received a biometrics appointment without any previous notice of action.

Is this possible? How do I proceed my temporary extension without that first letter?

Anyone having the same thing going on? I'm so confused!

We received the biometric notice first too.  See my signature below and you can see sequence of events for us.  If you do not get the extension letter within 30 days of when they received your file, submit an e-request.

Looks like a receipt notice incoming per USPS informed delivery.  On vacation so won't know exactly what it is until we get back.  Again, read my signature below.

Here's Greg's signature for you:

01/29/2019  Filed an online e-request due to no I-797 receipt mailed to date.  Received automated email to expect a reply by Feb. 20.

01/30/2019  E-request response received.  They will send a duplicate receipt and we should receive it within 30 days.

02/04/2019  Informed delivery show an incoming letter form USCIS.  Won't know if it is a copy or original extension letter as we are out of country for about another 2 weeks and mail is on hold until then.

Well I guess I'm technically a Feb. filer now, meant to get it in sooner!

Quick question, did you caption any copies you included in your packet? Like, if I'm including a PDF of a bank statement or a scan of a driver's license, should I put a caption saying "Petitioner's drivers license" or whatever, or is it sufficient that I listed everything in the cover letter?

I listed everything in the table of contents. Most things are self explanatory, but for anything that’s not, or to explain why you don’t have certain things that may be “standard”, you can use the covering letter to explain.

Hello all. I am getting increasingly frustrated! On the USCIS tracker app, it says my case was received Jan 4th - contact them if I don't get anything by Feb 3rd. But when i check online, on the website, it says it was received january 8th - THIS IS NOT CORRECT. why could it be like this? I mean I guess I should call them?

I am the beneficiary originally from UK !!

01.04.19: I-751 Received @ Phoenix

01.09.19: Check Cashed

02.13.19: NOA Received

Perhaps because they did not begin processing it until January 8th.

Sorry if this was discussed already and I missed it, but does anyone think there's an issue with the new tax transcript format? I planned to send the last 2 years of transcripts rather than my full returns. The 2017 transcript only shows the first 4 digits of our last name, rather than both of our full names. It does say married filing jointly and has the last 4 digits of both socials. IRS says this is the new format, and that it's for security. Still good enough for USCIS?

Hi everyone, I sent my package on January 28, I didn't see the part of special instruction on the USCIS website about G-1145, I didn't include it in my petition :( I wouldn't be able to get any notification

via text or email. Is there any way I can get notification if I forgot to send it?

ROC Timeline:

01/28/2018 - Sent I-175 Packet to Dallas Lockbox

02/01/2019 - Case was received

You would need to call USCIS, provide them your A-number, and then they should be able to provide you your case number.
