I sent my application on the Jan 4rd and was received January 7th. My green card expired April 13th . I filed prior to my 90 day window mistakenly not knowing. I called on Jan 23rd and representative told me my application was rejected and sent back January 22nd . I received. Rejection letter Wednesday .they did not provide any type of tracking. I asked and they said if your letter doesn’t arrive in 30 days to call them . Good luck . I just sent mine all over again today . It should arrive Monday in the am . Will keep updated

I'm sorry, but I'm a little confused (too little sleep and too much work lol). Did you send the original packet back that they sent you? Or did you send another packet?

Also, did you include the rejection letter in the packet that you sent?

Alright folks! Just got a letter today from USCIS and it’s the biometric for Feb13. Do you guys know how much longer would the extension letter? I’m reading some Nov and Dec threads, doesn’t seem to have a pattern. Should I request that from USCIS online? 

i130 (both parents)

2021/11/19 Both i130 approved.

OMG I'm in shock friends!!! The letter that came in the mail today from USCIS is my wife's extension letter!! Indeed it's an 18 month extension.

 

I'm sooo happy right now!

 

The only little bad news is that only one letter came for my wife and nothing for my two stepsons. So Monday morning I'll probably be calling in to see about theirs.

Yes, it's the California Service Center. Our receipt number starts with WAC.

Hopefully very soon. Seems like it can take 30-45 days from receipt. I called and that’s what the rep told me. Mid dec filers also seem to get theirs in mid Jan. Hoping next week.

There's really no pattern as to when everyone is getting their extension letter.  Some get it very fast, some within 30-45 days, and others waiting months.  Just submit an e-request after 30 days and wait for a reply.

That’s awesome!!  So happy for you.  Hopefully the ones for the kiddos is soon to follow.

 

Is the 18 months from the date of filing or the date of the gc expiration?
