Thanks guys!

I tried both the older case status and the one through my account.  Probably needs to just update.  I feel better seeing that there are others with a 900 number.  Mine is EAC19900.

I’m sure it’ll update in the next day or two.  Not like there’s going to be any progress on it for a long while.

:)

I have the same five starting digits.

By the way I have a mail scheduled today from the Vermont Center! I wonder what that is!!??

Spoke with USCIS regarding my case.

Representative informed me that my case was rejected. She wasn’t able to provide me any details because she couldn’t see the reason why.

My application was sent back to me yesterday and I’ll keep everyone updated why it was sent back.

Either I filled to early (6 days before ) 90 day.

or did not file correctly/missing something

or my credit card didn’t go through.

A little worried now

Hi Chrstiannic! I hope everything is going well with your journey.

I have a feeling our packet will be sent back as well. We sent it on 1/27 via Fedex and it was supposed to arrive on 1/31 (the day of the 90 day filing window), but it was actually delivered earlier on 1/30.

Can I ask if you received a tracking number or an e-mail regarding the case being sent back? I know you called and the representative told you it had been sent back, but I was wondering if you hadn't called how would you know it was on its way back? Do you just wait and then it pops up at the post office?

I should have waited until the window opened to actually file it, but I was so excited to be one step closer to being done with USCIS forever.

Oh well, hindsight is 2020.

I believe you could wait for a week and then call them up for a case number. If the officer handling your case is not a stickler and files your case a day or two later, you would be all good! Fingers crossed and rooting for you guys!

Woops! I think it is too. I jumped the gun as I see you've yet to receive the NOA.

Ok, thank you. We'll call them next week. I also attached a G1145, but I'm not sure if they will send out notification.  As everything in our packet was dated 1/31 I'm hoping we get a compassionate soul who will file it later. Thank you thetrademark, I'm trying to stay positive and remind myself that this set back holds no real impact on us filing for citizenship (definitely AFTER the window opens this time),

There was a recent story of someone who filed the N400 online like at 2:30 in the morning on the date she was eligible, but for whatever reason, it set her PD back by one, meaning 91 days.  I think it got a bit far in the process before it was noticed - What a nightmare.  At least you still have plenty of one to resubmit and don’t have to

worry about it being one day off in a year from now and having to start over.

That’s good though!!  The quicker that gets done, the quicker the extension letter is issued.

I’m guessing that the extension is technically some sort of a “benefit” which is maybe why they need to do a check first?  In theory, someone could have stacked up some hefty charges in 2 years.

Definitley annoying though bc NOA’s came so fast with everything else.
