I think it just means it’s not an official Service Center, but they do process cases like a service center.

As info:  my AoS was processed at the NBC, and it was approved without an interview.  My husband’s friend, who coincidentally has a foreign spouse who arrived about the same time I did, had her AoS processed at the Vermont Service Center, which was then sent to our local office, and they had to attend an interview.

Be hopeful that maybe your RoC filing is so strong and makes a prima facie case of the veracity of your marriage that they will process it there and in 15-28 months you’ll receive a 10 year greencard in the mail. 😊😊

I finally had an update today from moneygram that my money order was cashed on the 18th. 💃

Quick timeline:

- File sent on Jan 11.

- Delivered on Jan 14.

- Case received by USCIS Jan 16 (as per USCIS site).

- Got the “case received” text on Jan 17, (case # starting with WAC).

- Money order cashed Jan 18.

Now just hoping for no RFE. 😰

Thank you, we are not worried about interview at all. Just would like to get our extension letter 😁 .. but we will remember that it's long waiting anyway...

Be positive - even IF you get an RFE, it means someone is looking at our case, and you have he opportunity to add more evidence :)

Spoke with USCIS regarding my case.

Representative informed me that my case was rejected. She wasn’t able to provide me any details because she couldn’t see the reason why.

My application was sent back to me yesterday and I’ll keep everyone updated why it was sent back.

Either I filled to early (6 days before ) 90 day.

or did not file correctly/missing something

or my credit card didn’t go through.

A little worried now

Filing too early is in itself a reason for rejection.

If filed early, all you have to do is re-submit once it comes back.  I’d also re-sign the petition (and covering letter) so that it has the proper date.  You’ll be fine.

I took our package to FedEx yesterday night, scheduled to be delivered on Monday.

I triple checked everything (and corrected the 2 errors I found during my check).  And then I checked again while at FedEx.  I am

absolutely positive the form is correct and everything else is just how I wanted it, and yet, I’m overcome with a feeling of worry that something is wrong or missing.

My neurotic fear comes from a very very stupid error I made on the i485 and the subsequent scramble to rectify that.

I haven’t had a USCIS ulcer in like 2 years, so I guess it was time 😂😂

I’ll just be glad when it’s received and then I can carry on about life for the foreseeable future.

Same here with USCIS ulcer lol!
