So if you look at my signature, it took me 4 working days to get a text. I believe that is the average for late dec and Jan filers for G-1145 text.

 

Frankly, I think the chances of USPS dropping your post in diff zipcode are lower than someone entering wrong zipcode by mistake. I think you should get text today or monday utmost.

Charming12, did you check the zip code on your receipt?  Mine had the zip code on the receipt to which it was being delivered.

Hello Everyone - 

 

I had a quick questions - When i submit my IRS tax return transcripts, do i need to submit W2s too? I ask because i had multiple jobs and i am not able to find one of the W2s and it will be a pain to reach out to get it - That is why i decided to go with the Transcript route, but just wanted to make sure that would be enough? Anyone else submit just the transcripts??

You don't need to send W2s. The tax return transcript shows what was actually filed. The transcript is better evidence than a copy of the return, because a return could be filled out, but not actually filed.

I was able to get Wage and Income Transcript from IRS website that shows Income. IMHO, It would be better if you can get that in case you are missing a W-2.  Don't give them a chance for RFE.

For 9, if you have a USCIS online account, then you can fill in that number.

For children, I believe you have to fill in information of all your children as they do have space to check if they are living separately and if you are applying for them.

Our ROC reminder letter stated this under the evidence example list: "Tax returns with verification they were submitted to the tax jurisdiction"

 

The IRS tax return transcripts are sufficient since they prove that the couple's joint federal returns were actually filed with the IRS. We included all the pages of the tax transcripts since our marriage in our package.

Only if the tax transcripts are not available, you would need to include your complete tax return (1040, all schedules, other forms, W-2's/Wage income transcripts etc).

 

Also, if you have filed joint state tax returns, include those as well. You can get a copy of the filed return from the appropriate state tax/revenue agency.

If you actually write the zip code in google maps you’ll see that both of these are in the same place. Mine says it’s available for pickup from zip code 75222 and it’s still the same building. So I think we’re fine 😉

Zip code entered on receipt is correct but tracking info shown delivery on different zipcode with no PO Box info? That is what freaking me out
