Hi, I'm in the same boat too. I applied for N400 before they adjudicated my i-751. My I-751 transferred couple times. They scheduled an interview but due to Covid-19 it was canceled. Now I'm waiting for the new interview date. I'm not sure if it is going to be a dual interview or I-751 only.

Same here, 751 filed in January of 2019, WAC receipt. Biometrics for the 751 in May of 2019, never got extension letter, so I got a 551 stamp on my passport back in April of 2019(which is already expired and I can't get another one bc of the covid19 offices closures). Filed for N-400 in February of 2020 online,  later in the same week the 751 was transferred to NBC and biometrics for N400 was done by late February of 2020. 5 months and counting, at myuscis it shows an estimated completion time of 4 months. My local office is Santa Ana. I saw elsewhere that they adjudicate both at the same time in Santa Ana but it seems that each field office has its own procedure. The combo cases that I saw in Santa Ana they interviewed for the N400 but not for the 751, so the spouse doesn't need to be present - hopefully they clarify if the spouse needs to be present once they schedule an appointment and send the letter. Down side is that they don't seem to approve both on the spot because the 751 is still pending but they do approve it either later on the same day or within a week. Will see when they get these cases rolling again, hopefully soon.

Tomo21, I am also exhausted of waiting.

I filed mine in January as well. Got an RFE in March and it has passed 60 days. Not sure how much longer esp when WAC processing time has increased to 27.5 months. Since I got an RFE and live apart from my spouse (job and corona virus) reasons,  I am tripled worried and exhausted. Wonder if it is a good time to enroll a lawyer or do anything.

Hi..It became approval notice yesterday! was surprised.. I was thinking about what to do... I hope you case will move forward...

For folks who filed I751 at VSC, the processing time is now 11.5 to 17 months and as per their processing time, they are working on case filed on and after Jan 11,2019.

I'm not sure how accurate these processing time are? My I751 case has been transferred to NBC from VSC on Feb 4, 2020 after done with N400 biometric appointment on Feb 03,2020 and since then nothing happened? I have also involved my congressman last week to inquire on my I751 case so not sure what else do I need to do?My 18 months extension letter is going to be expired in July and as per my understanding the local USCIS Albany, NY field office do not take walks in and appointment for stamps. I contacted Tier2 officer last week as well and was told that my case is still at NBC and have jurisdiction on my case as to whether they will approve it or send it to local field office (Albany, NY)

Hello All,

I am in the same situation. Filed I751 back in January 2019, and the case was received in Feb 7th 2019. Then I also filed N400 in January 2020. We received a notice on Jan 28th 2020 that our I751 was transferred to NBC for faster processing (not sure what that means). Since then nothing. So we have been waiting for the I751 for 16 months, and or N400 for 5 months. Should I keep waiting or should I file an SR to see what is going on? Our local office is Tampa.

Best Regards

Jonny Eser

My case is similar, my GC expires in August and I applied for citizenship in December 2019, my i751 says 3 months ago that it was transferred to the jurisdiction office and my N400 says that it is being reviewed all the time. I do not know what to do. what have you done?

Mind too , extension going out on July 30th , I called earlier and was told to call back when its 30 days or less left to get info Pass appointment.

Shall call next week to get an appoitment.

As long as they extend it for a year , I have no issues , since I have already applied for N400 and Biometrics has been taken too.

When did you apply for N400? There are threads for N400 filers similar to this group. My wife file hers in January 2020. There are about 55 Jan 2020 filers, and 9 have had interviews scheduled since the USCIS offfices re-opened. Two of those interviewed and were approved on June 19, with one being scheduled for their oath ceremony this Friday, the 26th.

As of April 4, 2019, we are ready to schedule your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number MSC1990xxxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice.

Hi All, we filed ROC on Jan. 14, 2019 and did biometrics, never received an RFE, but my wife has had this online status for 14 months now.  2 yr green card expired April 12, 2019 and extension letter for 18 months will expire 10/12/2020.  I know we still have 4 months until 18 months are up and have read here that others who've spoken to USCIS said to wait until 30 days before expiration to call and schedule an infopass appt, but just wondering if anyone has intel on whether interviews are really happing for ROC.  We interviewed in Argentina for AOS before moving to U.S. back in 2017, so I'm really hoping we can just bypass the interview.  Provided tons of evidence (6 months shared checking acct, Bought condo together in both of our names, family health insurance policy, etc. etc.).  Obviously COVID has thrown a wrench in processing times, but we haven't had ANY info in 14 months, which is just completely irritating.  Thanks and good luck to all.

We are within 30 days of expired extension notice and called today to request Infopass for passport stamp and got turned down. Rep said they are only scheduling Infopass for emergency reasons for travel. I guess it doesn't help our local office here in Los Angeles is one of the hardest hit cities with COVID-19 🙁

But don't we need the stamp to prove continued status? 😱

I guess lucky that we don't intend to travel at this time but I feel really uneasy about not having proof of status.

I have similar situation. I’m in DC and processing time here is showing up to 36 months 😞 I have contacted my Congressman and he helped me to make sure that both of my cases are completed in one interview. But they also cannot help in getting extension stamp. Congressman however told me that they will contact the USCIS to see if the cases (I-751, N-400) are moved forward for interview or at least provide them update where the cases are standing. My I-751 is pending Since Dec-2018 and N-400 since Nov-2019. I saw many people got their N-400 processed already but DC office is really slow.

How long did it take for congressman to get a response from USCIS? I have contacted both congressman and senator to see whats going with my case? My congressman is useless and complete waste of time. All his office staff is saying that we are in contact with USCIS with no progress since April 2020. I reached out to senator last week after congressman failed to help me.hopefully she will have a good news for me
