I had a doctors appointment today, just a normal check up, and my blood pressure was way too high. My only stress right now is waiting for the approval and for my fiance to be here, and the fact im raising 2 kids alone when if CSC would hurry up i would have my fiance here to be supportive in more than words.

Anyway she put me on valums (sp i know i spelt it wrong).

anyway i feel like a dork now. I cant believe ive let this visa process control my health so badly. :(

>hands some out to other ppl who may need one<

I agree that the whole process is s sickening, but things can only get better after all

Hang in there!!! Nothing else that you can do that is worth talking of... if you need us we are here for you. (F)

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

Sorry to hear how stressful this whole thing has been for you, I can totally relate. I've also noticed changes to my health lately. This process is difficult enough, never mind raising a family alone until your SO is there to help lighten the load a bit. I just try to hold on to the fact that sooner or later (hoping sooner  ) it will all be over and our family will be under one roof. I hope you and your fiance are reunited very soon. Try and stay strong and when you can't... scream into a pillow lol :)

awwwwwww...I just wanted to add my 'sorry you're feeling so stressed' and also I understand! It's been a rough waiting period for most of us and we do know where you're coming from! Mine is over now, but I do remember what it was like..I think all of us here who are reunited really truly wish we could do something to hurry it along for the rest of you!!! Some very tiny small consolation if any I know, but it's true! :( Anyway, wishing you all the very best for as speedy as possible visa in hand so you can have a wonderful reunion!! Be good to yourself..and enjoy the Valium! hhaha :) M & C

I don't think there is a person on this board who will not know what you are going through, we all feel the same at times. I know my blood pressure reached a dangerous point and I now have to take blood pressure tablets but the doctor is sure that once this process is over, I will be fine.

I used to take Valium years ago when I was loosing my business and vowed I would never do so again so if I feel stressed now I just take some herbal ones, seem to do the trick, or even better - just a few  Bacardi and cokes - that's even better

Keep going, it will be over and you will be together ***hugs ***** to you

Bet it works  Friday night is what we call "Crunchie night" here, time to totally chill and go out and enjoy ourselves, which would you believe means just a few more bacardi's and coke

Hope it works and you can have a nice relaxing weekend

Good point.....feel free however, to enjoy a Coke and let other people believe you are drinking. The great part is that you can act as crazy as you want and feel fine the next day.
