So I recently received my NOA2 (woo!) and while waiting for the next step I decided to see what I can get done in the meantime.

I've been reading around and learned that ideally I want to get all the proper vaccinations done locally because it'll be cheaper

but I also noticed on some people's DS-3025 that there are some "age appropriate" exceptions. What I'd like to know is should

I just go ahead and get ALL the vaccinations done that is required for AOS, or can I skip some because they will be an exception

even though it says required for AOS. Here is the list of the vaccinations with local fees. I know I might as well get the free ones,

but should I bother with the others?

Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR) - Free
Polio - Free
Tetanus and Diphtheria Toxoids - Free
Pertussis - $50
Haemophilus influenzae type B - $45
Hepatitis B - $45

Thanks Guys!

Well if you do not get anything they will give you what they can at the medical exam and give you an exception for anything that they can not because of time constraints. The only benefit to getting them sooner is saving a little money. You actually do not ever have to get them completed. Here is a good thread on what will happen with them for AOS.

Get the Tdap not td so that it's free, don't get heb B, it's not age appropriate.  flu is seasonal.

Also in Canada you must get the vaccines of any you missed/need. You will not get your medical completed until it is done or started if it's multiple doses. This is another Country specific thing that most all other countries do not require.

~~Moved to the Canada forum, from K1 P&P - as the medical varies from country to country.~~

TDap should be free if you haven't had a booster for it in your adult life.  If you haven't had a Pertussis booster in your adult life, you will require one (Td is not sufficient for immigration).

They are quoting a cost for the flu shot?
