Filling out I-129F form - a few tips

I just completed the I-129F form with my fiance over the last weekend and wanted to write down a few observations while it's still fresh in my memory!!!

1) I had some issues when I first opened the document.  I found that Microsoft Edge web browser and Adobe Reader did not work well for filling out the form.  GOOGLE CHROME worked the best.  (I would imagine Adobe Professional would be the best, but Google Chrome worked well given that I don't have that program)

2) Be really careful not to miss questions.  My fiance and I found we had missed a couple of questions when we did a second review of the application, and the reason we had missed the questions was because they were tiny little yes or no checkbox questions located right after other sections that we skipped over due to not being relevant to us (for example, right below the section where it asks if your fiance has ever been married, it asks in question 37 if your beneficiary has ever been to the USA...we had skipped the part about him being married before since he's always been single, and we almost missed question 37).

3) A few fields did not present as fillable, so I filled them out in black ink by hand after printing

4) We got confused about the question about waviers...we found this did not apply to use since neither of us has a criminal history, and I have never filed a k-1 petition before.  I am still not totally sure what all of the waviers are but I am pretty sure they are related to those two issues.

My packet is in the mail right now so I don't know if we're approved yet, of course, but I hope these tips can help people working on the form!!!!

And you won't know anything regarding approval for 6 to 8 months typically

YMMV

Yeah, I know, I just wanted to be clear I am not saying these tips get you approved, just thought they were helpful.
