My wife undergone her medical exam and they found something suspicious in her chest x-ray. I did not see anything but I'm not a doctor.  Now she is having to go back for the days for septum samples and it will take 2 months before they results come back. What I would like to know is .. if she is found to be positive where do the treatments take place to they take place at a hospital where she lives or does she have to come back to Juárez And undergo the treatments there

Could be either.  Local protocol will govern.

As an example, in the PI the Tb treatment takes 6 months to complete if done at the medical center where the exam was done at or 1 year if you want it done locally to where you live.

YMMV

It's actually 6 months treatment + a 1 year waiting period in that case. :P

How old is your wife? If she can go to the other doctor to get an Xray and sputum test and she doesn't have any symptoms like coughing a lot then maybe the doctor can give her a  report to prove she got that spot long time ago. She can pass it. That's what we do here

Exactly why the OP needs to understand local procedures because your solution wouldn't fly in the PI because what the examination clinic says is gospel

Sputum is the 2 month process.

If that comes back positive, TB treatment is required. This is a CDC requirement.

If it comes back negative, then there's no issue.

Unless you meant to say show the x-ray in order to avoid having to do sputum?

So you are saying she can get a second opinion from another medical center and if they approve you hunk she can attend the interview?

Nope unless the country has more than one approved clinic.  Unless the embassy approved panel physician signs the medical the application isn't going anywhere

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I only took 3 times of sputum test then they're all negative(in 1 week) Not culture test. ,the doctor provided  me a record that my Xray hadn't any problem. .Then I brought this clarity  back to the physician doctor who did my medical exam(Because the hospital processes the medical exam for the applicants of the USA visa  is not in my city ) . He gave me the medical result that I could bring with me to the interview. It said the spot on My lung caused 15 years ago(A lot of ppl got an injection for TB when they were kids, that's the most reason they got a suspicious spot on their Xray).Anyway, the doctor can prove it's not a TB and I'm fine . I'll go get my culture test soon just in case then depart for the USA  next January. I know in some countries, ppl can pass their visa interview this way .

So your medical result was not sent directly to the US consulate?  The scenario you describe is not normal procedure.  You've had your interview already?

Look at this post

All in all they say it took then from Dec to April to complete their interview process
