It used to say It would be completed in September. Now there is no longer anything listed at all that says how long it will take. 
 

I just checked the USCIS processing times and the time range is 5.5 - 7.5 months. So I’m actually outside of the long range. Lol

I think that you'll get your notification this month though and then they'll make it up by giving your oath in 2 weeks after interview. We'll keep our fingers crossed for you!

Just got in touch with my congressmans office for an update... VSC told them that my case is sitting in the Jacksonville field office... So it either just got there in the last couple weeks (9/19 Jacksonville responded to my case inquiry and said the case was in another location), or they just sent a canned response. Lol. Hopefully that means there will be an interview scheduled soon... Congressman's office is waiting on a more detailed update on the next steps.

That's great! at least this will remind Jax that they need to schedule your interview.

 

Question : Does it mean background checks are done if your file is with the local office?

They then send your file entire immigration file to the district office so the local IO's can review before your interview. In small cases, when the file or background checks do not arrive in time, the local office will cancel the interview

Good news update!

 

It appears the congressional inquiry worked... I just received a phone call from USCIS to schedule an appointment. I have my I-751 and N-400 Interview TOMORROW morning @ 9am.!!!
