When we called NVC to get the case number, they provided our case number and said we were in "Normal Administrative Processing" Could this delay our Processing?  I am hopping this is not the dreaded "Administrative Processing" and it is just the normal processing.  Can anyone confirm?

We are full circle again.  When I log into the check status page, it says we must, and I quote "

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask. "

The first of these six steps is to select and agent.  When I click on the link after login, it just takes me to the original message I provided in my question.

Don't login.  Just select the check status under the immigrant section
