DCF London timescale to "Issued"

Hi all,

 

I had my medical on 20th November and my interview on 28th November. Unfortunately at my medical they requested additional information from my GP, so at my interview I was approved pending medical results. 

 

I provided the additional information to VisaMedicals last week, I contacted them yesterday and they told me my results were being sent to the embassy the same day. It seems there is no way of knowing when the embassy will receive or process my medical results? I sent the embassy an email this morning to enquire but received a generic response saying they could give no indication of timescales.

 

My CEAC status has been showing as "Administrative Processing" ever since my interview. My "last updated" date had been showing as 29th November until today, around the time I received a response from the embassy, and now it has changed to today's date. I'm wondering if my case has actually been updated somewhat or if this is just because my file had been looked at after the email I sent.

 

I'm just wondering how long it will take for the embassy to update my case with my medical results and for my status to change to "Issued"? Am I being over-optimistic in hoping my passport might be dispatched some time before Christmas day?

Sadly all you can do is wait. After ours went to Issued, it took 7 days for my fiance to get his passport back. I hope you get your Christmas wish but please don't hold your breath. There is no time limit for AP.. Keep checking for Issued to pop up! Good Luck!

Too optimistic; see @Wuozopo's comments on another thread: "They won't jump back to his case the day it gets delivered because he got out of the process flow"

If you email and they look at your file or respond, there is usually a new date associated  because of that.

Case Last Updated:

19-Dec-2018

 

So I wonder what's going on 🤔 
Still keeping my fingers crossed that it changes from AP to Issued soon.

Changed to Issued today 🙂 if my tracking from DX comes tomorrow that would be wonderful
