Forget to put alien number for beneficiary in spouse petition

Hello,

 

A year ago my fiancee had K1 petition approved by USCIS but visa was refused at embassy. We got married and I already filed spouse petition for her. I just realized that I forget to put Alien Number that was created by USCIS when initial K1 petition was approved. Will that cause any issue in my I-130 petition? @pushbrk @geowrian Please suggest if I need to do anything by notifying to USCIS. Has any one been through same experience?

I doubt it will be an issue. They want it to match up records easier, but it's not a material matter IMO.

you mean it can cause issue? I did provided information on question when asked have you ever previously filed petition? and gave the information about my wife in that question on form i130 and Result as Withdrawn. And attach withdrawn letter with K1 WAC number. Please let me know in detail. I am so worried..

Anything incomplete/missing can cause an RFE (i.e. a missing checkbox). Something immaterial to adjudication of the petition is unlikely to do so.

I wouldn't be worried about one this one field personally. I've never seen or heard of an RFE actually being issued for it.
