Hi everybody,

I'm Niño, I'm a new member and I just want to ask for your insights and advice regarding my possible future situation. My fiancee is a US citizen and

she already filed for a petition for me last February 07, we received our NOA1 already and we are expecting to receive our NOA2 by first week of June 07.

I'm working here right now in KL, Malaysia for less than a year so my interview will be in Manila. I have my auntie's Manila address as embassy's reference. My fiancee and I agreed initially that when NOA2 comes I have to resign and go back to Manila to concentrate more on the visa processing but on second thought we realized maybe its possible that I can process my visa while still working here in KL within at least 2 to 3 mos. (ave. Manila processing period is 4 mos.).

Is it still advisable for me to stay and work here in KL when there's NOA2 already? What are the major and minor activities that I have to undergo in Manila? How long (days?weeks?) for each activity?

Pls. give me advices and insights on this. :help:

Thank you very much.

God bless us all.

Well, here are the activities you need to think about:

- Getting all the papers ready for Medical/Interview/CFO (this could take a while, possibly 1 or 2 months, maybe more)

- Medical Exam at St. Lukes (2 days, about 1 week before interview)

- Interview at US Embassy in Manila (really only 1 day)

- CFO Counseling and Guidance (1 or 2 days, some of which can be completed before interview)

Some hints:

If you start getting your papers and documents ready now, it will be much easier.

Since you have been working abroad, you will need to get police clearances from the countries you worked in.
