Our I-130 was approved on May 15. The web site is messed up though-our last touched date is May 16 and it still says the case is pending (hence why we never received the e-mail). However, the NOA2 arrived by mail on Saturday.

Thanks for the congrats! It took them 8 months-back when we tried the K-1 it only took a month and a half! I thought we would never get out of Vermont.

Was wondering how you found out when the NVC received your stuff?

It takes about 1-3 weeks for NVC to receive the case from USCIS. You can email (NVCINQUIRY@state.gov) NVC and you can also call them, speak with an operator live. NVC will email you back, whether they have your petition or not. They will enter your information into their computer system and then will assign you a case n umber. In the meantime, please go to NVC forum, explore the shortcut, etc.
