I am in the same boat as you guys. I had my combo interview 4/29/2019 and both cases showed approved. Later the n400 said submitted for quality review. I have no idea whatever that is. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Congratulations!

From what I understand some files get randomly reviewed following the interview even after being recommended for approval. This does not really take a long time. I would say don't worry about it too much. My personal opinion is that as long as you received the 'we approved your applic' message on myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov, then you're officially approved and basically just waiting for your oath letter. I got both qual review and approved applic notifications on the same day. @mitefa and I received our oath letters after 40+ days after interview (mine was 46 days) and were both now naturalized. We were both interviewed last December.

If qual review is the last notification on you case status online, it won't change until they send your oath letter. best wishes!

Thanks a lot for the explanation. I hope I get the oath letter soon. I was informed by my IO officer that ceremonies are held every Tuesday and Thursday each week and for the last week of the month twice on both days. I’m surprised I couldn’t get scheduled for any of those. By the way I applied in Charlotte, NC.

Hi,

I just saw this topic right now.

Obviously, my response to you were based on our experiences with quality review because we didn't hear from USCIS for a long time.  Hopefully, you get your oath letter within the next week!  My suggestion is to call USCIS and ask them about your file. I called 36 days after interview because I was getting worried about that quality review. They saidthough that no flags were being shown in my file and that I was still in line for oath. I don't suggest waiting that long though. The guy on the phone said to call them again 90 days after interview if I still haven't received an oath letter. I got mine 10 days after that phone call.

Wow, NC has a lot of scheduled oath ceremonies. Mine in FL only has one ceremony every 2 months which contributed to a longer wait.

Best wishes and I hope you hear good news soon!
