Timeline

Good morning all,

I was wondering how long does it take for the EAC number to be processed in the system? So far I've only received a blue receipt, which was received on 5/9. I called up the 800 number. I told them that I have not received an NOA. I gave them both EAC numbers that were on the blue receipt and neither worked. They transferred me to an immigration officer. He told me that many applicants may not receive an NOA due to the heavy work load they are facing. Is this true? Well, he mentioned that the second eac number shown in the blue receipt is the actual receipt number.

I guess the wait is still on...........

12/06/04 NVC sends DS-3032 to wife

12/06/04 NVC sends I-864 bill and copy of DS-3032 to me

12/15/04 Receive I-864 bill and copy of DS-3032

12/17/04 Sent I-864 fee and DS-3032

12/21/04 DS-3032 received by NVC

12/21/04 I-864 fee received in St.Louis

12/27/04 IV bill generated

01/06/05 IV bill received

01/07/05 IV bill sent to St.Louis

01/13/05 I-864 received

01/26/05 IV bill processed

02/07/05 DS-230 received

02/19/05 I-864 and DS-230 sent to NVC

02/24/05 I-864 and DS-230 received by NVC

03/10/05 NVC completes case

06/21/05 Visa granted at interview

06/29/05 Wife enters the US

Removing Conditions

04/02/07 Vermont receives I-751 application

04/26/07 Blue receipt received

06/12/07 still waiting for NOA

You will get a NOA1 as this is the extension letter extending your expired Greencard for 1 year.... give it a few more weeks then if you still not got it you could make an infopass appointment to check where your NOA1 is....

You may receive your NOA1 a couple weeks after the blue receipt letter. See my time line below.

As for the two EAC numbers on the blue letter - they are pure junk. You real EAC number will be on your NOA1.

05/04/07 Received BLUE Finger Print Receipt Notification (day 32)

05/17/07 Received NOA1 dated 5/9/07(day 45)

05/18/07 Received ASC Appointment Notice dated 5/14/07 for June 1st (day 46)

06/01/07 Biometric Appointment today @ 2:00 (day 60)

06/03/07 "Touched" (day 62)

10/26/07 "Card Production Ordered" (217 days from the day the application received and 172 days from NOA1)

10/30/07 Touched again

10/31/07 Received Notice of Removal of Conditional Basis of Lawful Permanent Residence letter, signed by Paul E Novak Jr.

10/31/07 Touched again - if we get touched again does that count as harassment?

11/05/07 10 year green card arrives! (227 days)

US Citizen N-400

03/12/08 To be filed!
