Well the start to another exciting Monday, get to work and a/c is off and the computer system for some things not working now i know i need the coffee!!!

I've done this, but only because the item was defective and fell apart after one use. (e.g. shoes)

2. does everyone always wash new things before you wear them??

Only if they smell like chemicals.

And, WRT the original poll,.... apparently I'm an "average woman". ^_^

Funny you should ask. I always wash things before I wear them. I can't stand the thoughts of someone trying them on then me putting it on and wearing it. Plus, I can't stand the "feel" of new clothes. I have to wash them. That being said, I'm wearing a skirt today that I didn't wash. I could tell it hadn't been tried on previously and I wanted to wear it today. I just bought it yesterday so I didn't have time to wash it.

To my knowledge I've never bought anything and returned it after wearing it. Unless it would be like Krikit said and it fell apart after only one use. But I can't even recall doing that.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

those that had worn/returned had the intention to do so when bought like a prom dress that the tag was left in that kind of returns.....

and one woman who had worked in a garmet factory said ALWAYS wash new clothes she said you cant imagine what goes on, sneezing, coughing etc on things before packed to ship, plus i have heard of people getting lice fr trying on clothes that someone before had tried yuk
