Prepaid Calling Card Logs

I've been using prepaid calling cards to keep in touch with my fiance because it's cheaper and easier. The downsize is it doesn't generate a paper trail. Has anyone been able to get the logs of the calling cards?

I could give customer service a call but what do I ask for? Can I get the logs from all calls comming from phone number xxxx? Or do I need to give them all the serial number? These are just plain old calling cards I got from gas station on my way home. To anyone who was able to get the logs please share your experience with us as this will be very helpful.

THose are not really all that important. Do you have emails & other proof you've corresponded since you filed?

Just call the calling card company, tell them what you would like to get, and ask them what information they need!

If they do not have logs available I suggest you search for one online that has

them easily accessable online so you can print them out.

I have used yespinless.com and now use call-sierraleone.com ( for any country )and the cheapest for me with superior customer service.

Compare the price for your country. Some here use pingo.com

There are many online cards available with call records.

Why not sign up for Verizon or Skype (Verizon through MSN is something like 1.9 cents a minute anywhere)? You can still call and it keeps a downloadable record on your account. If your spouse has a PC, you can call using that and record the conversation (it's high tech and depends on the country your spouse is in, but it's effective).

I was in the same situation as you. What I did, as I didnt know what to do either, is I just copied all the cards on the same sheet. Lined them up on the copier so I fit about 12 or 16 on one sheet. Then I turned them over and copied them all again to the same sheet, again the same 12 or 16, all with differnt serial numbers and different calling codes, to show they were all different codes. I sent mine to my fiance like that, and it worked out for us.

Good luck!

I have an AT&T prepaid calling card and I called customer service to request a print out of my calls....they told me I needed a subpeona for that. Too much trouble for me so I just left them out. I did send emails and postage receipts from where we'd mailed things to each other. Hope this helps.

I send them the orginal calling cards (around 30 or so) during the I-129F process and got approved. I was thinking more for the Interview as I have close to 100 more. I'll try giving them a call. Hope I don't need a subpeona or the like. Having $500+ of prepaid calling card should hold some weight even without the logs at the very least. We also communicate via email. My fiance printed over 100 pages worth of email from me. I have 100 pages as well from her. I wish I knew about pingo.com as I have a paypal account. I'm weary about using my credit card online. Besides, I'm using them to keep in touch with her, not just to show the embassy.

I have been on this site long enough to know that sometimes it is enough and other

times it is not. Why take a chance ? Again try to get the records.

I just wrote the company that I buy internet phone cards asking for phone logs. They e-mailed them to me with no problem.
