Well can't get medical until you schedule interview.  There's much you need to do now.  This is for the Nigeria Portal page I updated a whole back.

https://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Nigeria&cty=Lagos

But you need to get your case# from NVC. Then you can go pay your Visa fee.

You need to create account on ustraveldocs.com/ng and fill out DS-160 on ceac.state.gov. Once you do that you can go back to ustraveldocs and try and schedule. I have been helping a fried and logging on 3 to 4 times a day(It lets you try 4 times to get in) and then you are out of attempts for the day. Currently it says 164 day wait for interview. all you can do is keep trying but don't get Police report until the very last thing after you know your interview date.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

From now on your VJ Member name will be verified. If the name you put on form to be added to spreadsheet comes up not found, you will not be added to the spreadsheet. If you don't have a timeline you will not be added to the spreadsheet.

Please Please put your VJ member name only. Not nicknames or real names whatever your VJ name is. It's below your profile picture!!

I don’t have any advice but I’m thinking of my strategy as well knowing that it’s taking months to get an appointment. I do think that you need the NVC number to actually schedule the interview. I’m not sure though. My thought is the same as yours. Schedule the interview as I get the number even if my case is not “ready”. Let me know how it goes.

Wet signatures are no longer required for I-134 for your Nigeria interview. You are able to send in scanned documents. I signed, scanned and emailed mine to my fiancé to print and it was accepted.

Scheduling the interview can take 1 to 3 months. Once you pay the $265 visa fee at GTB Bank, you can go online to schedule an appointment at www.ustraveldocs.com You can get the forms online at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html No need to go to the consulate to pick up forms. Download forms if unexpired or get current versions of same forms. Email LagosIV@state.gov for your interview date.

yes you definitely need your case# and IIN, pay visa fee and complete DS-160 before scheduling an interview.

If when scheduling an interview the drop down boxes didn't give you k1 as a option so other was picked and the now the interview page says b1/2 for student. How do/ can this be fixed?  A email was sent to correct but they responded and said it was fixed but it was not and then the said to reschedule to see the updated change. Did that and it still says the same thing.

Please help
