So my Fiance had her Medical today and the only vaccine she needed to get was for Chickenpox. Unfortunately no one told us that the chickenpox vaccine is two shots that need to be taken a month apart. The doctor said that she can take one now and still do our visa interview on December 19th but will have to wait until January 7th to take the next shot before she can enter the USA. 

 

Does anyone know if this will hold up our process on getting her visa? Will they not approve her visa until she gets the shot? We are just worried that this is going to delay the process of getting approved and getting her visa sent back to her.

Was that at Medisys in Montreal?

I just phone Medisys and they said you do not need 2 if you are an adult and don’t have records. If a follow up is needed you can do it in the US. That’s what they told me

You’re welcome! It affects me too - I’m in the same situation so I wanted to find out for sure!!! Phew, you scared me for a sec. Glad to help
