Good Morning..

i have read a few posts about people who have “expedited” at the NVC stage. Case number creation and package sent to embassy.

is this possible?

with our recent approval based on medical emergency expedite, I emailed.nvc and asked if it is possible to have a case number created ( they have received our case) and they said this process is already done expeditiously.

How  do other people say that NVC approved their expedite if thats not true?

I believe that you must wait for the case to have been created in the NVC system, you then can send an email giving evidence and requesting an expedite but not till after they have provided you with a case #.

This will then be sent to the embassy that you or your spouse will interview at, it will be up to the embassy to decide if it meets the criteria for an expedite, you will then get an answer from NVC to see if it was approved, and further instructions.

That makes sense, I just don't know how long we will be waiting to have the case number created.

depending on when NVC said they received the file it could take 6-8 weeks for case creation, also keep in mind what USCIS allowed for expedite does not mean the embassy will allow.
