Ah...my bad!!! :P

Then they may have been following an old guide? The G-325A is no longer needed, nor would the medical exam unless it has been over a year. Maybe they used old forms as well, which can trigger a rejection with the generic reason stated.

:) I'm  so ready for a weekend :)

Probably, yes, an old guide as well.

OP, seems like A1&R1 is rightyou should check your I-765 application. A category you put in item 27.

I found the item in question, would you both be able to inform me if this is correct/incorrect?

I needed to validate my immunisations, I was told by the doctor in London when I Had my medical dome there that I would need to have that done once I get to New York, as I didn’t have my jabs dome then although I got them dome before I left for the USA. I didn’t have a full medical here, it only cost me $40.

No worries, thanks for the explanation. I just had a quick look at the cheque - my partner signed her name on that line. I understand that’s not correct, but it wouldn’t invalidate the payment, would it?!

So...where you, guys, put a fee description , of the services you were paying for?

Also, have you checked your I-765? Item 27? Should b c(9)

Here we go - THAT's the mistake. It has to be c(9)

https://www.uscis.gov/i-765

"K-1 Nonimmigrant Fiancé(e) of U.S. Citizen or K-2 Dependent--(a)(6). File Form I-765 along with evidence of your admission (for example, copies of your Form I-94, passport, or other travel document) and your K visa. You are only authorized to work under this category during your 90 days in K-1 or K-2 status. You cannot renew this EAD. If you submit subsequent EAD applications, other than for replacement of a lost, stolen, or damaged card or a card that contains incorrect data, you must apply on a different basis. If you have a pending application for adjustment of status, you should file under category (c)(9)."

Correct the mistake, double check everything - forms (have to current, not old), signatures, every box on each application, supporting documents. And re-send the package again.

Oh, and write the check according to USCIS recommendations

https://www.uscis.gov/forms/paying-uscis-fees

Good luck!

Thank you and everyone else so much for your help. We will amend this section and change the “memo” on the cheque, along with printing off all new forms just to confirm they are 100% up to date.

Thank you all again. Wish us luck! 🤞

Here is a list of all the documents I submitted along with my I-485, in order:

Form G-1145

Payment

Form I-485

Passport style photos of myself

Copy of my passport, biographical page and entry stamp

Copy of K1 visa from my passport

Copy of NOA2 approval

Form G325-A

Electronic I-94 copy

Copy of my birth certificate

Certified copy of marriage certificate

Form I-693 medical examination

Form I-765 employment authorisation

Form I-131 travel document

I'll cut right to the chase - you did not include the required fee of $410 for the i-765.

Send a check totaling $1635 and that will solve your problem!

Looking at the i-765 instructions, this is correct.

OP, you did not put the correct eligibility category down.

Since you're submitting the i-485 concurrently with the i-765, you are not required to submit an i-765 fee. However, this is only for the (c)(9) category of eligibility categories, not the (a)(6) category as you put down in the i-765.
